night elves processing trauma in Shadowlands? All I saw was Tyrande running around and everyone trying to save her from dying. Night elves never got attention like they give Sylvanas. For Blizzard, Elune telling Tyrande to choose forgiveness is good dealing with trauma.
Based on this interview, I'm going to assume that Wrathion is truly the intended future Black Aspect. Especially when you add in all of the art, pins, in-game narration, and that Sebellian isn't even mentioned.
I thought the nelves already had their revenge? And no, we already saw enough in bfa/sl: Tyrande forgave everyone and won't retaliate so everything is fine. Shandris perspective is all about peacecraft as well.
Just forgive your genociders, don't take back the land they stole from you and attend to their wedding! That's how you deal with trauma
What's with the 3 year time skip in peace and factions of druids and shamans still being useless and unmentioned in regards to healing the world?
Didn't they ask the narrative team to cut out the grotesquely mawkish dialogue? And why can't they just have the voice actors say the lines like the actors do in Diablo, ie with some basic resemblance to how people talk? They don't need to be screaming I AM SAD or I AM SORROWFUL with each line. And someone should do a video edit of every time a character pauses before an understatement to give it significance. That would be... entertaining.
