I feel like his takes on raid trash is not very up to date.. If he thinks that’s the time people go for a drink or a snack and half the raid is afk, the other half painfully clearing the trash to boss.. he is kinda right, but that’s not a positive thing. When you spend more clearing boring, slow and meaningless trash longer than actually killing bosses, that just sucks - that’s why people skip trash, not because trash isn’t rewarding BoEs. Put 3-4 packs between bosses, that’s fine. But putting 10 packs with lieutenants is just too much of a time waste for raiders.
He is also out of touch with the group finder system. It feels like searching through some type of scuffed thrift store right now just to find a key you want to do. You can't even filter out warmode in the regular group finder system, which can also lead to annoying issuing when trying to summon players for a run. It doesn't have anything to do with finding the "easiest" or "quickest" key in my case. Blizzard once again proves they are willing to let the general population suffer based on a small sample size of meta players. They are just terrified of a Maw repeat, clearly.
Why is Method still given a platform? That guild should NOT get any attention for obvious reasons.
They should not have talked to Method, they are now redundant - not competitive at all.
The M+ stuff just shows they ignore what addons allow people to do already, filter out everything they aren't looking for and target specific dungeons/keys.And I agree with the person who said the trash mob point of view is massively out-of-date. If there's anything they should have learned from the exodus to FF14, it's that maybe trash should be removed entirely. And if they want to have a sense of the enemy having a large amount of forces, put them in the background fighting with allies or add it into some of the boss fights.
