Did this on first week, several videos that have been out for a while now about this, didn't know it wasn't found until now.
What a fun idea! more mounts should be earned this sort of way: doing something unique and challenging that actually explains why you now have the mount. I cant wait to do this one =)
As a rogue I was able to use cloak of shadows to avoid taking damage from the lava. I didn't start taking damage even after cloak had worn off, as long as I stayed in the lava.

I was wondering about this because the last two articles about DF mounts was always uncertain about this.
I wonder why a slug drops a shell when they haven't one.
