Great for people who use it, i'm just going to be using the base ui :)
I'm really gonna try to make the base UI work.
I use LuckyOne's UI and I enjoy it a lot. Party/Raid frame colors are vibrant and it's easy to use. I would like to try to use the new Blizzard UI but I am keeping my files just in case. But I would recommend that one for sure if you are thinking about it.
Have the developers of ElvUI actually fixed the performance issues that it came with?

How's the performance on it? Does it still kill FPS in the raids?
With the default UI now you can make it look like Elvui. Blizzard did a great job, theres a 'few' things I'd improve or ask, is that the resize on certain things (MAP, talent screen), make everything moveable like the bags, micro bar, character screen, etc.. The unitframes are crap though, I'll still use Plater.
does elvui have a silver dragon optionI can only use UIs that support silver dragons
It's good to see to one add-on will still work. I wonder how mine will be affected since one requires Curse Forge/Overwolf. And of course, I remembered the wowhead article afterwards, I'm grateful that I've only had hiccups the first day, though.
ElvUI takes up sooooo much FPS. I'll pass but it's nice to see it on the front page !
I've never liked ElvUI. No hate. I really tried it multiple different times, but the modern look and feel doesn't fit WoW for me.
I feel like a lot of people will drop elvui for like a day to try new base ui only to realize how many things the base ui lacks compared to elvui and then go back to elvui. If you think that elvui is dropping your fps and making the game unplayable you need to put upgrading your pc above replacing your ui addon, I never had issues with elvui.
Elvui is a rather heavy addon and, unless you have good hardware, will affect your fps, with lightweight addons, you can pretty much do the same thing and have higher performance
blizzards new UI cornered me into finally getting bartender 4. never wanted to make the plunge into overhauling my UI but bad design'll do that.
Does everyone here use potato for pcs? never had any fps problems with elvui for years
