Good. It was way too annoying and disruptive.
:/ Cmon Blizzard, it was the only fun part of the event...
boring!make it an event every 18h for 2h!
One of the most historical events in WoW history gets canceled in Classic because whiny Karens complain that it is too disruptive.
The Scourge Invasion till 26 of September?
I'm disappointed that people are going to miss the introduction to Grand Apothecary Putress and the whole "let's research the cure to this" aspect of the event.
So now we don't even get to see the putress quest or the varian/garrosh/thrall stuff?
:(Was fun and thematic.
Did the quests with Putress even spawn? That’s really important story for like the entire main plot of the game from classic through shadowlands. Putress’s research of this plague in Shattrath leads directly to the creation of the Forsaken Blight and the attack on the Wrath Gate.
Plague event is still kicking on Mankrik lol.
Good *!@#ING riddance.
im glad the event is broken. i kinda liked it when it was actual wrath prepatch. now having this event for the second time i realise just how bad the event actually is. it is in my opinion the most obnoxious event in any game i have ever played.hopefully it stays broken :)
Awesome event, wish there were more like this. A second scourge invasion should be something that is felt and actively disrupts the regular routine of Azeroth and I think this time around it was great fun.
I really don't get people who were mad about the plague.I never played wotlk. Never played classic until now. Started on a fresh server for the full wotlk experience. No guild, no add-on, nothing. I never had any major problem doing my things with the plague going on. I was turned into a zombie, I died a lot. So what ? I was still playing, still leveling no problem. Did it slow me down for like a total of 15 minutes tops all in all ? Yep. Wow. But I found it fun. And now it's over, that's it, not coming back. Leveling will always be there. And it's not like this is a new game with significant progression. This is pure nostalgia, role-play, just for fun. Anyway. That sucks a little bit for me.Edit *However, it's kinda interesting and very telling about the playerbase. Makes me think of the end of the South Park episode ''What do you mean ? Now we can play the game''. Ironic, because they were missing school, sleep, getting fat playing all day long. What do players think playing the game is ? Leveling ? Being the best ? Progression ? Maybe, but at the same time ... maybe not always ?
