A lot of stuff got moved around on the trees too.Garrotte moved from the class tree and we as a class get shiv back! (thank goodness)Outlaw specifically, Combat potency moved up 4 rows (before AR rather than after float like a butterfly).Evasion (dodging an attack triggers Main Gauche with evasion active) on the left under grappling hook was moved to the right under Between the Eyes (replacing Ace up your sleeve) and labeled as "Riposte" (1 sec ICD, but no evasion requirement) This also moved Ace up your sleve down one slot in the 4th row where quick draw was, and moved quick draw down.Combat Stamina (previously 5th row right side), was moved up to 3rd row, left side to take the place of the old Evasion.Slicer Dicer was moved up 1 row and connected to Adrenaline rush with the middle tree (not required to go left to obtain).Fatal Flourish was moved up two rows and connected to Adrenaline rush in the middle tree.Both dice rollers<loaded dice and sleight of hand> (and roll the bones as well) moved down 2 rows. but both now are no longer dead ends and connect back to count the odds below them. Ghostly strike removed from left dead end, added as a choice node with Sepsis in it's current spot (8th row, left side)Dread blades removed from right dead end, added as choice node with killing spree in it's current spot (8th row, right side).All in all, the tree feels more accessible from both sides rather than getting trapped partway through.This is in addition to numbers tuning, reducing long arm of the law from 3 extra yards to 2, lowering BF damage to additional targets (likely to make up for the new target cap), etc.

Very sad to see Garrote removed from the class tree. I was really looking forward to having it on Subtlety to help fill the rotation outside of Shadow Dance. Having only Backstab for ST feels bad.

All of these changes are fantastic!Only thing I wish they'd fix is that assassination talents are still super railroad-y once you get about halfway down the tree. Beyond that the fact that so many classic assassination abilities are back warms my cold stabby heart.

dreadblades being so low on the tree, since it's practically mandatory, feels awful. especially since its presumably lower due to it now interacting with restless blades. having it be a choice node with killing spree feels even worse, making sure you'll never take one of the coolest and most fun buttons in the game. and since blade rush is such a commitment, its way too easy not to take it, and not having either blade rush or killing spree in pvp feels the absolute ^&*!ing worst. add all that to keep it rolling still being on the bottom of the tree, and quick draw and ace up your sleeve needing an extra point to take, and at least in pvp you're absolutely railroaded in a tree that was so amazing for having so many side talents you swap between. also i get outlaw not having flagellation or bone spikes and losing garrote but it sucks toogoodbye OG outlaw tree, we really had something beautiful :(
I wonder how many times Feint has been nerfed since it was put in the game.
The current talent tree (Outlaw)... Nice. Goodbye roll the bones! There will be a lot more ambushes and a ghostly strike or blade rush added in, but I am ok with that. Kinda feels more COMBAT rogue like. We can reach the bottom on left and right sides and not bother with the center of the current tree.
So Outlaw is still capped and now you are nerfing Blade Flurry, which you buffed not that long ago cause spec was not uncapped... cool...
why dot specs should never be viable in m+?look at the assa shadow affli and feral specs now blizz,they are compeletly a mess not good in raid neither m+,and srsly when i look at the talent trees i rly think dot does not exist in wow any more....assa rog talent was already fine and u ruined it whats the next step?
Rogues should just get invited to reroll to one of the flashier classes that can do everything a rogue can, but better. Assa can't aoe, sub can't cleave, outlaw can't ST as good. Just end the agony.

Just to clarify, looking at the Talent Trees now, is Fan of Knives now a baseline Assassination ability? Because now there is Shiv in both the Class and Spec Tree.

My opinion on this patchnote is that the modifications made are really good for 3/4, in detail on a case-by-case basis:Class tree: The changes made are really very good because they bring more utilities and survival to the class, however a change that I find bad and the place between and I don't understand why, imo it makes no sense or reason to be and what's more they stuck very well to their old place with the right part focused on Critical Hits; coming back to it would clearly be a good thing.Assassination: The worst of the three, here are the reasons:We are still forced to choose a purely single-target talent that is to take a multi-target talent aka , the change I propose is to swap places and which is in a better logic of what we want to do.Currently it is impossible to get two talents from the back if they chose to pick which I find unfortunate because it is not exciting taken alone, so the solution would be to decrease the rank of certain talents ( I am thinking in particular of , and ) AND create a link from to and .These changes will allow even more combinations.Outlaw: Impeccable, several feasible builds and the AoE/Cleave aside so as not to encroach on the rest, imo not to be touched.Subtlety: Spec 'I know the least but I find the changes relatively good especially because the AoE / Cleave has also been set aside to not encroach on the rest. I leave it to experts.
