Fingers crossed that the profession knowledge won't be horribly time gated >.>
So basically a Underlight Angler variation but for Alchemy. I honestly like this.
Yo, talent trees for professions? SIGN ME UP!
So what is the theme of 'frost formulated potions' vs 'air formulated potions' ?
I think people have hit on it in other reveals, this all hinges on the rate in which we can level these professions, if they put in some terrible currency or time gated grind this will be deemed a failure. However, if they let people just pump these up from day 1 and the people that dedicate time to this instead of gearing their characters I think it could be a real success
ok this make no sense potion lore.? really ,now there just making stuff , I really concerned what there going to do for leatherworking,,please lord god . dont make it ridiculous..and what if I dont want to specialze do I have to ? to make the not the best but the middle of the road gear? so many question no answers. Agreed, but there's really no point to time-gating profession stuff.but remember that rating system thay had back in the day when you had to make 10000000000000 just to rank up one spot.. this is what it looks like to me..im not spending my sub doing profession the entrie game life.. and the specialzation titles/tree makes no sense?
Hope they already have some way to prevent Work orders to be monopolized by single player over whole server. If they don't it won't matter how great rest of profesions will be - because if someone monopolize Work orders then it would pretty much destroy crafting for all the rest of players.
I don’t even main an alchemist, but this looks pretty great imo. Glad they’re finally really pushing for big changes for professions. The new professions probably won’t be right away everything we hope them to be or everything they need to be to create a more stable economy where the average person who puts time into it can make decent gold, but this is a reallllll solid starting point for further refinement later on.
I hope they allow for resets without having to unlearn and relevel the entire profession. I can see people going down the wrong specialization only to realize they've locked themselves out of something they really want like Cauldrons.
Wonder how this will affect the current passives alchemy gives you like double duration, and also how the old transmutation mastery will work into this, if at all
I just hope this is only temporary and it is all worthless in 2 years when the next expansion comes out. Follow that core wow design we all know and love.
I wish they would show and explain it on Leatherworking seeing as how you crat mail and leather the way I was thinking it would suck having to pick between "mastering" either mail or leather but the way this is laid out leads me to believe we can do both
do we know what happens with old expansions' crafting systems? are they remaining untouched in their current state? is transmutation master etc staying the same for them?
