I know they don't contribute much (right now) for most classes and specs but this system is just plain awful. The only reason it skates by is the fact that legendaries and the covenent abilities are far more egregious in how broken most are.Honestly I would rather spec spicific conduits were just gone. It is the one thing that keeps you from doing a re spec during a raid or between arenas. Unless you are able to use different soulbinds for different specs which in most cases can severely handicap your potential DPS.If we must have them then all conduits should have some sorce. Once acquired have conduits rank up every few renown levels.
i really LOVE the conduit choices! BIS for some classes, total trash for others, nice implementation!
Why only 1 potency conduit per spec though? As a Frost Mage, not only I got shafted that Icy Propulsion drops from Sludgefist, but there are no drops for Ice Bite
Why does it feel like Blizzard wants to meet the community feedback only half-way so they can still keep part of their annoying designs to make us stay logged in longer, while saying they listened.
It's like whoever actually implemented this doesn't even play. A good change in theory, the implementation is so bad someone should be fired.
The conduit system in general is awful. It's one of my least liked things they've ever done.

This change rather feels like it's a day late and a dollar short.I don't farm the maw other than doing the 3 daily's each day and the weekly quests down there and even I've had enough Stygia to purchase and upgrade all but 2 of my Conduits as a Druid to 213 - I only do Heroic raiding so any further upgrades I'd have to do Sire mythic for the 226s (and frankly that ain't happening) or carry on via the Stygia route. It would have been far more useful and saved a lot of Stygia used for the 213s if those 213s dropped from Heroic Sire from the start of SL. Sadly this feels it's a change that's come too late for a lot of players including myself as if this had been from the start we'd be looking at upgrading our conduits to 226s with the stygia we've earned rather than effectively having now wasted it on 213s that are going to drop from Sire with 9.0.5.It's a nice change Blizzard - but...too little too late for too many players I think.
Useless for druids, and we also have the most amount of conduits that can be randomly upgraded by Venari, so good luck getting what you want for the spec you play cause the great minds at Blizz decided that even the specs you don't ever play should get randomly upgraded.
