Wish they'd raise the Anima amounts earned... I've been playing daily since launch, doing all Anima WQs and such... and my character's still starved for Anima to unlock Covenant Structures, Mounts, Pets and Cosmetics... I cannot fathom doing this process again on Alts to collect another Covenant's stuff... :|
Yet another adventurer I have to remember to not pick up by accident. I already have one guy chilling in the halls of Torghast because taking him would reduce the level of my troops by 4. Maybe by the end of the expansion, when we'll finally have levelled up our main adventurers to 60, I'll be able to add these additional ones.
Really looking forward to using Night Fae: [npc=172474
I think the back transmogs are 34 not 33.
I read “a new adventurer” and immediately thought “ugh, a new adventurer”. The last one I recruited, several weeks ago, is still sitting around lvl27 and largely useless in most missions, and not for lack of effort put into leveling it — xp earned vs needed ratio ramps up so much that leveling just hugely slows down. And meanwhile the bulk of my adventurers are lvl40-41. I’m hoping it won’t drop my troop level but... sigh. The system could use changing like so:- Once your troops have leveled, they won’t de-level, and- If an adventurer is lower level than your troops, they get double xp from missions.
Echo this!I agree, something has to be done, there must be xp missions always available for the lower level 'adventurers' to do. It sucks they drop your follower levels and they are so much of a pain to level because they are basically useless waste of time unless there is a mechinism to get them up to speed quickly and it doesnt hurt you team as a whole when you get them,That is the really ^&*!ty part, loosing levels on the followers.... who the hell thought this was a good idea?
These tmogs look super cool. That's one thing you can't hate on.
people complaining about new companions do NOT realize how this works still, dont let them 'just sit' even if lower level a while pick them up, throw them in the grinder so to speak and grind them up in levels passively, even losing isnt a 'loss' when it comes to xp and your companions!
Why is the Venthyr follower another DPS? Why do we only have one healing follower, still?
Time. You'll get them all with time. Their plan is that you continue playing the xpac for the full 2 years and at the end of 2 years you'll have enough anima to purchase the back items. If you assume a player can gather 1,000 anima a week (for the weekly quest) then a 3500 back item takes you 3.5 weeks. You can then do the math for mounts etc. 35 weeks for mounts that cost 35,000 anima (52 weeks in a year so a little over half a year of saving). you get the idea.Obviously players can gather more like 2,000 or 3,000 anima per week (I'm sure someone obsessed could get more) but 2,000 is probably doable for someone who plays more than casually. So if you go with 1,000 or 2,000 anima per week and divide by anima cost for cosmetics you'll see how long Blizz would like you to play during the xpac to get the items. Basically, you aren't getting them all soon. They want you on as long as possible. The question for Blizz remains, is a high anima cost with low acquisition enough to retain players.
At least the Anima stuff isn't required for play! It's all mostly cosmetic!
All anima amounts need to be doubled and even they did this it would still take months to farm and be a pain to grind just one covenants items
As far as anima from WQs and the like, a lot of that was random in the number of items, like it might be only 35 anima per item but you could get 1, 2, 3, or even 4 items from 1 WQ, in other words WQs were dropping more anima than the raid bosses and now they are about even with only generals and sire dropping more guaranteed.
