Makes sense in case we can use them in future seasons too.
I'm okay with the change, not like we already have access to them now anyways
I'm sure this thread will be nothing but people complaining and saying "time-gating WoW Blizzard". But this really doesn't make a difference to 99% of players.
It's just a curious decision to add this type of feature again. For mythic raiding guilds, this will likely be yet another "min-max" requirement. Blizzard doesn't seem to learn anything from past failure.
seems fine. player power is already out of control 1 week in.
The only people here complaining, are the people complaining about the people they think will complain.
this is to stop non top guilds to commit and rush wont affect 99% players anyway :3
I think they're starting to realize this expansion isn't going to be popular, gotta move those goal posts to keep people subbed just a little longer.
I already gave up. I started playing in the open beta before vanilla. This expansion is confusing and a GRIND.1. Having to walk in the Maw is non-nonsensical.2. The main quest line reminds me of Cataclysm.a. Go to a quest giverb. Get a quest to pick up some things, to kill some things, and maybe a bonus quest that gives 2% completion for each mob killedc. Return to the quest giver who you gives you a quest to kill a larger mobd. Rinse and repeat 1000 times to level 603. The terrain is a movement nightmare. Three out of the four zones are chaotic non-linear messes. I had a corpse run that I could not complete due to this.4. The conventant/soulbind stuff is a gimmick.5. Professions have basically been ignored.6. Using the skip feature for alts puts that character in a zone with total "fog-of-war", no flight points, and no ability to get the covenant mount. It is obvious that Blizzard or whoever deeply misses the game designers who have left the last couple of years.
People to not like the game?
They should be very very late extra grind rewards so that it doesn't feel like a must of any kind. When you've got the fun stuff down with Torghast and the Maw, you can after everything is said and done, still do a little maw stuff and slowly get a little bit stronger after getting the best gear you can get.
I don't mind it. I feel like this change makes it more forgiving to spend your stygia on other things now instead of hoarding all of it for the sockets as many are doing.
*Gasp!* I'm not surprised, it's actually a really good item. Deserves to be an exalted rep thing. XD
