All signifies that the entire spell is classified as Bleeding, so it's theorized but untested that Ascendant Phial prevents the initial damage as well.

DoT Only signifies that only the Physical DoT portion of the spell is classified as Bleeding, so you should take initial damage even with Ascendant Phial active but can remove the Bleed using Stoneform or Phial of Serenity.

None signifies that no part of the spell is classified as Bleeding, so Stoneform or Phial of Serenity should have no effect.

Finally a chance to balance the factions and they nerf it before it happens. Can these devs still deny that they favor Horde?

Comment by Kyeguy

Better instantly nerf the one few advantage alliance has ever had. The blizzard horde bias is unbelievably bad.

Can't make the Horde feel forced to go Alliance eh? But they have zero issue making the Alliance feel forced to go Horde.

that would have never changed faction balance, they would've changed back anyway.

Comment by Evelo

Thanks for making my Kyrian choice and the fact that the generic ability is pretty useless along with the Necrolord. It won't change my decision because I was going Kyrian no matter what but this stings quite a bit.

God forbid Alliance have a competitive edge in raiding, someone oughta go back to BoD and make the troll racial not apply to the FINAL BOSS' PRIMARY MECHANIC. Like, are you kidding me? Are we still pretending blizzard give a rat's a** about alliance having a raid scene? Until some big guilds come back to alliance and bring their fans with them, Alliance's hall of fame won't fill fully.

Comment by couchpotato2013

If people were smart they would have waited until launch to swap anyways. But still this is pretty comical. I guess this could be seen as a buff for having paladins in the raid.

Comment by Kalcifur

Poor Dwarves. Even in WoW they're treated as second hand tire fires. Not even first edition fires either, just the terrible smelly ones behind the Walmarts.

Comment by DelliWow

Put down your pitchfork and tell me what benefit Blizz gets from making alliance "bad". (Which has not been the case in YEARS, factions are just still unbalanced from when it was)

Comment by Kelras

Racial and faction advantages are only allowed if they are Horde. :-)

I get it, after all, PvE is so Alliance-dominated at the moment that they can't just let this slide.

Comment by Alarius

Blizzard will never own up to their own incompetence regarding faction balance... ever.

Comment by Arkthugal

Didn't they change that during or directly after progression on Jaina?

Why...? Please eliminate the faction divide already, Blizzard.

Comment by Deadract

you do know right that both the alliance and horde were horde races for that fight right? lol

You had to be the right race in order to get the proper swap to troll if Ally, genius. Also Blizzard at least made money on everyone on Horde swapping to troll for the classes it could have.

EDIT: Stop whining people. You want to be forced to pick Kyrian and go Dwarves for world first race? Alliance hypocrisy at their best.

Comment by Wepstar

So, for 16 years the Horde dominate PVE ladder because of their top racial abilities. And it was ok for Blizzard to see only RED guild names in the Wowprogress.
But now, when there was a chance for the Alliance to get on top, Blizzard nerfs Alliance racials immediately!
Same thing was with human racials in PVP.

At least now its clear that Blizzard are Horde bias!

Goblin and Kil'jaeden say hello...

That affected an insignificant amount of players (not even entire guilds, as only a few classes actually "needed" it) and was patched out very quickly.

Racials are not the reason so much of high end raiding play Horde. Recruitment and population-bias is.

This!

So many alliance players solely believe the only reason players go horde is because of racials. Theres just far more players over on horde that want to do end game content.

Where so many alliance players are just super casuals and role players
