Not a bad addition, but they just reused the animation from the wheels mounts from Mechagon from what I see.
What if mount equipment that removes cast time and permanent broom which can have mount equipment applied?
WoW... so they had time to poke the art department to give it a new animation (kinda cool, but woulda taken a while), but not to duplicate an item with the exact same model and everything as a permanent mount with a cast time, with a cost of say... 300 treats or whatever, to buy from the vendor (would take a guy all of 10mins, if that...) Sigh.. hopefully next year :(Also... for me, it's not just that it's instant cast (although that's nice), it's that it's SMALL and ICONIC to fantasy. I'd love for my lil' gnome warlock to be able to ride on her witchy broom (thematic...) all year, rather than one of nearly 500 mounts I own that completely swamp her in size -.-
It should become a permanent mount obtainable during Hallow's End, with of course a cast timer. Have it to be the reward from a new HE questline, or as a direct drop from the HH.
I have a feeling it will become permanent with a cast time in the future, there's no real reason not to do it. Make it work like other holiday toys - when Hallow's End is active - it has no cast time, every other day of the year it has a regular cast time but can still be used.
I too want it as a permanent mount. The 'cool' way they could do it: Cast time out of event, instant when the event is up.That way we don't lose anything and gain a nice mount.
Make it fly, that would be fun.
