This setup is really similar to the Shield of Vengeance strategy. The goal is to have your
Null Barrier (Azerite Essence for tanks) absorb as much damage as possible, and then afterwards go with lower ilvl gear to boost the damage with PvP Scaling.
To deal damage to our Null Barrier (which only lasts for 10 seconds) we are going to use Thing from Beyond. The corruption proc that spawns and does instant damage to you (30% of your HP). It is important you do your own calculations to figure out what exact HP you want, so the
Null Barrier absorb doesn't break.
My druid got quite bad gear, leading to me using both
Pearl Diver's Compass and
Masterful Instincts to increase my Guardian mastery (mastery is great since it increase both the damage on Thing From Beyond, as well as all absorb effects on you).
To be able to proc the Thing from Beyond, we need to take damage. To do that, we are going to use
Sulfuron Slammer, the brew obtained from Blackrock Depths.
Simply be in combat with any NPC (training dummy, toad, lowbie mob etc) use
Sulfuron Slammer and wait for Thing from Beyond proc. Once it procs, use your
Null Barrier absorb and be quick to use your Legendary Cloak after it hits you. To get rid of the Eye of Corruption spawn that happens after you reached 60 corruption level.
Then you equip your low level gear, stealth and speed potions to catch up to someone!
Also keep in mind that you can cancel the drunk stun effect on yourself by stopcasting or just pressing escape!
