good change , bring the classes not consumables
I wish we'd just go back to MoP/WoD's buff systems so that you needed a variety of classes, but still had some flexibility.
So, if we are forced to bring some classes just for the buffs they can give, why don't give back class fmbuffs to every class?I mean, my guild was emotionally scared just enough in BfA for all the on flight changes we had to do while progress (first of all that dumb mechanics on G'huun that basically forced every raid to have al least 2 locks and 2 monks) Now Blizz is forcing us in always have some class in the raid comp. What about more softcore guilds where people can't attend 7/7 because have freaking jobs to support their hobby which is playing WoW?
So every M+ will now be a Warrior + Mage + Priest + Monk + DH, because any other composition and you'll miss out on buffs.
bad change. just make the scroll buff for half what the class does. the class is still relevant and we keep out scrolls.
Nice to see Blizzard going back to the whole bring the class, not the player mentality. /sSeriously though, these half assed buffs that only some characters give are an awful system. It was better before they removed them the last time around where you had 8 or 9 buffs but multiple classes could give each and hunters could substitute for one of three or something.
they really need to bring some similar buffs to other classes for raidso 15 + 5 locks spots but considering how op are their kit mage, rogue and dh you can double the need.don't forget one druid at least, their kit are still very strong.now you can start to recruit 11 other class more or less and go MM full blind. but still need to stack some op class because we know how it works now.add the complexity of personal affinity with the game for each covenant.did SL will remove some class from the game at this point ?
Awesome change, it's awesome that my class will always have a spot in M+ group and provide 5% dps increase for it. And good to know that most classes wont be accepted to m+ group since they dont provide dps increase, and this 5% dps increase is better than probably any bonus utility other class can bring that I dont already have. *sarcasm*
Bring back hunter pet buff-ability!
Bring back all buffs pls!
this is not interactive or fun. no mage, priest, warrior, dh or monk is psyched to hear they're only being brought for their buff. remove class buffs please and thank you :)
When they really want to return to class buffs, then every class should receive something useful. In that context they should also bring back the druid's Mark of the Wild, party-wide paladin buffs, and the hunter's attack power aura.
Terrible change. THis just puts an even heavier premium on bringing specific classes while leaving those without useful buffs out in the cold. It will make getting into M+ even harder, as everyone is going to want those now that there is zero alternative. Any group without said classes will simply be at a much worse disadvantage.Way to reinforce the meta mindset.
Dumb change overall.. class identity is not forcing ppl to have one class because it has a buff...bring scrolls back pls so inscription is relevant and not a dead profession<3
As a Mage, I don't mind, but I don't like the change.Scrolls have been part of the game for quite a while anyway.
People complaining about changes like this aren't playing a game that exists or has ever existed. No one is going to deny you from a group because you don't have battle shout. I recently moved to EU and had to start from scratch, and even in the days of corruptions giving you immense power I have had no issues at all getting my weekly M+ done. None, whatsoever. No one has asked about my corruptions or essences, and those are orders of magnitude more powerful than battleshout. You people are delusional.
I'm glad to see them adding more items to other professions, but are they adding anything to scribes to replace these?
