"they're able to farm multiple layers and combine their efforts into one pool of fragments"... what the actual?Meanwhile us plebs on regular servers are left to battle it out with overcamped spawn locations with ridiculous timers (elite bugs are 6-12 or MORE minutes to respawn). This carapace fragment farm is bringing the worst out of players and I'm on a non-pvp server. Granted I'm in a guild with about 60 people but several groups of us have been at this for several hours a day and we don't even have 2,000 fragments yet.

When there's collusion involved you can farm enough rep over night. Cross faction kill squads killing the opposing faction competition. For those who actually did PvP for it, big gz!
xD 6-12 minute spawns, oh no. WoW was such a step up in casualness even in Vanilla. I remember the 1-3 day spawn times in Everquest.I do not like the layering thing. Far as I remember, that wasn't a thing in Vanilla, so they made this thing super easy for populated servers.
no skill involved at all. I could have thought of this event myself. what the hell. I don't believe.
Huh, but why do they feel the need to bake their salads?
You think you do...

But but but Vanilla is SO hard remember? Vanilla this time around is a joke because you can unlearn and know everything from before.
that's also a way to ruin other players experience on that server. classic wow. definitely not vanilla.
It seems ridiculous that the war effort was a set number of materials instead of being based on the server population. And it is equally ridiculous that these large servers with multiple layers can just trade all the carapaces. Blizzard begs players to leave these massive servers, but then reward those servers like this... outrageous.
I did this during vanilla. This is nothing like that was. I was excited for Classic but haven't played in a while. It's just.. nothing like the actual experience was. This is more like acting out the scenes from a movie everyone has already seen. The way things are being cheesed, it's just very sad.
