I am so looking forward to revamped leveling... taking myself to zones i love and going to almost max in less than a day. Even now, 60-80 by itself takes almost 2-7 days for me with questing
Pretty excited to see what will be in the coming months with leveling in the alpha :D
Super excited to see how leveling will play out in other expansions, especially in Warlords or Pandaria. Major props to Des for testing the levelling!
With this XP buff leveling right now is super fast, I took my shaman from 58-70 in just hellfire (I did sprinkle in dungeons, and the 2 arena quest chains) I get the feeling TBC leveling will not be the fastest, however for me it is the most enjoyable, and glad that we will beable to enjoy some of the forgotten questchains, like the epic chain in SMV, and all of netherstormAlso do we know how Legion works, since there are no weapon drops are they adding in some weapons, or are we still using an artifact?
we al lknow blizzard will nerf this now that it is on wowhead
WoD will be the fastest expansion to level into without any doubt:
I hope this is wholly intended. Blizzard did say exp gains were a bit different on the alpha, but that may be simply for 50-60 content.Anyway, it's good to finally create a char and not feel like you have to level for a week before you can jump into content. And you can also just jump into one expansion, finish it, and reach cap, which feels a lot less chronologically weird.
Speed leveling, AKA how to get bored with a game that much faster.
OFFTOPIC
IMO I think quick lvling will be good for game generally, not only mention new players. The old ones and hardcore riders in breaks between Raiding / M+ / hi-rating PvP will be able to play old content for questline stories / achievements / runnig with friends from the opposite faction / new challenges like ironman , also possibility to quickly catch up your friends in guild if they need a new "healer" character "RIGHT NOW" for dungeons or raiding / pvp comps. Sky is the limit , ppl in WoW...they are very creativeNew players will learn to play in they own time without pressure from "older" wow friends ("coz you know WoW starts on max lvl" etc etc) to lvl faster and they will be less stressed and discouraged by long lvling and monotony. Like in fps games - you spend x hours in single player for story and overall tips how to play then jump into mmo madness and that's fun!
It would be nice if the revisited Vanilla, TBC and WotLK for a simple quest redesign, keeping the same lore and paths, but upgrading some gear rewards and quest efficiency
I think that does not sound good. 6 Hours and only one expansion content is enough for max level. Seems like they could have just skipped the leveling altogether and just give you a max level character. -.-
