Genn Greymane: The King of Gilneas does not deter from fighting in the frontlines, and is a likely candidate to have gone to the Shadowlands with the player entourage and suffer the same theoretical fate as Jaina.

Nathanos Blightcaller: Nathanos was the only being that Sylvanas ever shown any sort of affection after her death. However, after bringing so many souls to the Jailer, he might no longer be useful to Sylvanas and just left in Torghast. Nathanos was also discovered to be tagged as a boss in early datamining, which could make the Champion of the Banshee Queen a boss on later floors in Torghast.

The Lich King: This NPC is using the Arthas model, not the Bolvar model. Arthas is someone many players are expecting to meet again in Shadowlands, and we could not possibly have a better candidate to see in Torghast. However, this NPC has a title, <Vision of Surrender>, which likely means this is a flashback.

Thrall: Thrall could be in a similar predicament as Greymane, finally returning to the frontlines after being absent for the duration of Legion and most of Battle for Azeroth.

Garrosh: Garrosh is also a prime candidate for The Maw due to the atrocities he committed in life. As a former Warchief of the Horde and one of the most powerful warriors of recent age, seeing him in Torghast would not be too much of a stretch.

Ysera: Ysera died very recently at the beginning of Legion, and probably was unfortunate enough to be sent to The Maw with the rest of the funneled souls instead of the likely destination of Ardenweald.

My guess would be in the second teier raid of SL, our goal would be something like saving individual people and facing the numerous torturers and torture tactics the Jailor has place for each of them.
Probably a dumb idea, but it's interesting if the raid was more so to save people rather than just kill bosses then face jailor in 9.2.Comment by 2080020Got to point out how stupid it is to include Garrosh in this list. As a warrior he isn't "powerful" enough to be considered valuable by the Jailer and frankly, there were no "atrocities" to speak of. A character being mean to your waifu when she is on his enemy's team in the middle of a war is not an atrocity. Destroying a hostile military town responsible for the destruction of Taurajo in the middle of a war is not an atrocity.

At worst Garrosh's soul will be found in Revendreth, "atoning" for his "sins" if the storytellers really want to appease the crying Alliance players, but again, I can't see how a faction from the shadowlands would give a flying derk about how "meanie weanie" he was to da awwience in the middle of a war, like why would they care? If that's the case then surely we all deserve to suffer in the maw for the "atrocities" we committed against the legion, and the scourge, and the twilight's hammer, etc as clearly being in open war against them isn't an excuse.Comment by grennbalzeYsera most likely dies after the machinery of death broke, and therefore would not have gone to her proper shadowlands covenant.
