Lunar Preservation quest series - is this account wide ?, so i need to complete it on 1 character and be able to transmog Flower Crowns on all my characters year round ?

The quest "Lunar Preservation" is currently broken; you cannot get progress for the Blessing of the Moon buff from Nordrassil. I'd recommend avoiding it until Blizzard gets around to fixing it.
So nothing new? Honestly, I was expecting something new like a new holiday mount or something from Lunar Festival or any other holiday.
It's not broken. If you haven't completed the Magni quest you are in a different version of Mount Hyjal.Also, I picked up the quests for all 4 crowns. You need to go and pick 3 flowers from 3 different zones for each quest. The zones for each quest are different.Edit: Just handed in the four quests and got given the new version of each crown. The character I used did not have the old crowns so I would assume that you just need them unlocked in transmog to take these quests. (perhaps someone without the normal crown(s) could see if they can get these quests)

Just a heads up, there is a quest that appears to be new this year to get two crowns. I would highly suggest not buying any crowns until completing those, as they cannot be refunded for coins. ;_;
I really hope that this signals Blizzard moving towards a middle-ground compromise on transmog availability of holiday items. I don't have any problem putting in some time to earn a permanent, usable-year-round version of holiday items like this.Here's hoping the Bronze-Tinted Sunglasses is next on the docket.
I deleted the one crown i got last year and was still able to collect the quest for it.
I finished the quest, but the items at the vendor still say they will only work during the holiday. Do we have an actual confirmation that they will work after the holiday?

If I understand (can't log in to verify until later), once you finish Lunar Preservation you can get up to four new quests, one for each crown you have the lunar-festival-only xmog unlocked for. Whether or not you still have the original cosmetic item (eg: Crown of Good Fortune) in your bag, you still have to go to three other zones (different for each of the four crowns) before you get the forever xmog for that crown. I haven't seen the three zones for each of those four quests listed anywhere. I'm wondering if it'd be quicker to do the whole on a mage or druid. I'm assuming that Lunar Preservation only unlocks the forever xmog quests on the character that completes it, and not account-wide.
