Can we have realm faction ratio just yet ?
At least we already know which realms will likely be merged by the end of the year - these of the same type.Like Everlook and Razorfen.
So for NA we know we will have 20 total Realms open at launch, at a minimum, with emergency servers on standby if needed. With about 31 hours to go until Classic launch 9/16 existing servers are Full (with more players added after it received that designation) and 13/16 are High or Full, things are looking to be pretty congested. I understand why they are cautious to not open too many now only to have them all feel dead and empty in 6 months, but it is still frustrating not knowing where our group will end up, and if the names we all rushed to reserve a couple weeks ago will be worth the effort or if they will be available if we try to move to one of the new servers when they open up.
As of just now when I checked the login screen (8/25, 9:01am), Myzrael has moved from High to FULL pop.

I'm glad for everyone psyched about Classic and clamoring for news, but is there any way for someone like me, who has zero interest in Classic, to excise the flood of classic posts from the home page feed?
One thing I hope for is that people just take on a chilled approached when playing IF logging into the game immediately. Make groups for quests, be friendly and help a person kill a mob faster even if you end up not sharing the XP or loot. The better experience the PLAYERS make this stuff the MORE fun we will all get from it. Remember that you're there to build a community of like-minded people who shouldn't be treated with disdain or with bullying behaviour. Fifteen years after you first played vanilla you are an adult playing it now. Behave like an adult, please.I hope EVERYONE has fun and gets the goals from Classic WoW that he or she has set out for themselves.FTW! :-D
Maybe Wowhead could make a news article explaining how to exclude Classic news in their news feed so the rest of us don't have to read their comments on these articles? :)

i would like to know how many people made name reservations on multiple realms. i know in our home we did just in case we picked a streamer realm. we can't be the only people who had that thought. so with that in mind chances are this big deal about full servers is just an illusion. my thought is people will try to get in the first choice and go through a selection until they can get in or find a realm minus streamers.
It's just a name reservation. Also goldseller's account reservations. Actuall servers will be empty.
