This has been my favorite UI editor. I've tried other ones like Bartender and honestly ElvUI has been my favorite and haven't looked back.
I think it should be called "Version 11.12+" instead of "Patch 11.12+".On first glance I mistook it with classic (patch 1.12) and version just sounds better/more correct for an addon/programm than patch.
Never used ElvUI. Always used GW2 UI, which I prefer more. It still keeps the fantasy and immersion in-place, while also making a great UI. Wish they'd make a guide on it, too. ElvUI has such a futuristic look, it's not meant for me. It's still good they have it available though.
How do you know you like one more than the other if you haven't used ElvUI? I'm almost positive you can change ElvUI's skin
I have been using this UI for a long time now. The only suggestion i would give to other is that when you have everything the way you like, then export your profile so that you have it saved somewhere. i accidentally pressed rest on another toon thinking it would only reset that one toon, but i think i hit the one that cleared all my profile in the game. so save your settings just in-case you hit reset.
I've used this for awhile now but I still miss the default vanilla UI. Tried getting used to the old school UI but it sure misses a lot of good features that ElvUI uses.
I love elvui. But I disable the nameplates on it. I use Plater instead. Much better nameplates.
I have a Google Docs text file with the profile import code that I update every time I make big changes just so I can always go back to my last best setup if something goes wrong.
Don't use elvui since it haven't proper raid and group frames. Can't see new raid members, resurrected ppl or adds at 1 boss shows as dead.Very inconvenient.
