I would really hope they'd go back to the idea how to attract customers by making good games instead of "how to cut costs at the smallest loss of customers possible". That's a difference between "playing to win" and "playing to not lose".

Let's be honest. The Blizzard we all grew up loving is dead. Regardless of the title, it's just Activision now and they do not have the same values that built Blizzard. The sooner people get over the death of the Blizzard we loved, the better. It's just another triple A game company now.

I'm not going to pretend to have a single clue about business, but the fact that Blizzard seems to have done badly ever since it seems to have decided to prioritize making money over everything else makes me really wonder what the point of ruining a game 'for profits' even is. And I'm cautiously hopeful that this is a sign that they realize interfering was a stupid thing to do, and that the best way to make the game profitable is to go back to treating players like valued customers and not cash cows.

I wonder why your stock took a major hit. Couldn't be for the fact you insulted your fan base at Blizzcon with the horrible announcement of Diablo:Immortal or that BFA has a lot of bugs in it and the fact you nerf anything that is too much fun for the players.
People are somehow in the same sentence calling this out as bad news while talking about how development with profit first thinking has been hurting the game.Both of the people gone here have been in their positions roughly for a year, the year people consider Blizzard to have turned for the worse, and the Actiblizz replacement is the one who was in the position BEFORE that, IE for all of Legion. While we have no confirmation yet who Blizzard's own is gonna be, people should be celebrating this news, not lauding as somehow another proof Blizz is dying.
