Here is where you can interact with some of the Wild Gods in WoW:

Although Freya is imprisoned in Ulduar at the start of Wrath of the Lich King, her Avatar is guarding Sholazar Basin against the Scourge. You can aid her avatar in the Freya's Pact quest series. This quest sends you to Un’Goro crater, open a Waygate portal and fight the Scourge while riding a giant.
In the Artifact Game Guide, Freya and the Wild Gods are tied to several artifact weapons: Scythe of Elune (Balance Druid, Gold’rinn), Fangs of Ashamane (Feral Druid, Ashamane), Claws of Ursoc (Guardian Druid, given by Freya to Ursoc), G'Hanir, the Mother Tree (Restoration Druid, Aviana), Fu'Zan, the Wanderer’s Companion (Brewmaster Monk, Freya’s walking stick given to Yu’lon).
Agamaggan was killed during the War of the Ancients and created the Quillboar race. In Agamaggan, the player learns that the distinctive roots all around Razorfen Kraul and Razorfen Downs were created by Agamaggan’s blood when he sacrificed himself. In Agamaggan's Charge, you learn that Charlga Razorflank is corrupting the noble Quillboar race and the Spirit of Agamaggan asks you to kill her.
Aviana is best known from Aviana's Feather, an item from Draenor that allowed you to temporarily fly before flying was present in the expansion. She also has a significant role to players questing in Mount Hyjal (full questline in this comment, it starts with An Offering for Aviana). Killed during the War of the Ancients, she is revived during the events in Cataclysm.
Ursoc and Ursol were twin bear brothers who fell in the War of the Ancients. They are worshiped by the furbolgs, and you can gain reputation with the furbolgs with Timbermaw Hold. In Wrath of the Lich King, it is revealed that the fallen world tree Vordrassil is corrupting the furbolgs in Grizzly Hills, who have resurrected and corrupted Ursoc using the magic of the tree (Ursoc, the Bear God). In Legion, the Guardian Druid questline sends you to rescue Ursoc’s spirit, which is surrounded by satyr corruption in the Emerald Dream. This is set up to be a trap; Xavius then captures Ursoc, who later becomes a boss in the Emerald Nightmare raid.
Tortolla is a large ancient turtle in Hyjal. In Cataclysm, Tortolla is held captive by the Twilight Hammer, and you can rescue her in Tortolla Speaks.
Goldrinn, known as Lo’Gosh to the Horde, was worshipped by the Druids of the Scythe who led to the rise of the Worgen. In Mount Hyjal, players can purify the Shrine of Goldrinn (Lycanthoth the Corruptor) and speak to Takrik Ragehowl to learn more about Goldrinn.

Malorne and Elune

You can read accounts of the legend of Elune and Malorne by talking to Matoclaw in Mount Hyjal, reading The White Stag and the Moon in Thunder Bluff, and talking to the Druid of the Antler in Val’sharah. Click on the links to read their different versions of the story.
While we don’t exactly know what Elune is, she is worshipped by the Night Elves and assists them in times of need. One notable example is the cleansing of Ysera, killed by Tyrande due to the corruption of the Emerald Nightmare. Another heartbreaking example is the mercy Elune extended to the dying Night Elves in the Burning of Teldrassil novellas, listening to the prayers of the Priestesses of the Moon by putting the victims into a deep sleep and dulling their pain.
Tyrande Whisperwind is the High Priestess of Elune, and in Battle for Azeroth, we see her channel different aspects of the goddess’ power. In the pre-patch, Elune guides Tyrande to Malfurion and stops Saurfang’s blade—he is hesitant to strike. And while the in-game quest does not convey Tyrande’s power, the novella “A Good War” makes it very clear that Tyrande encases Saurfang in Elune’s wrath and contemplates killing him. We then see Tyrande channel a darker side of Elune, one of vengeance, as she undergoes the Ritual of the Night Warrior to gain additional powers and strength to aid her on the mission to rid Darkshore of the Horde. Night Elves that complete this 8.1 questline unlock special “Night Warrior” customizations.
Malorne meets his demise in the War of the Ancients but is resurrected in Cataclysm by Malfurion in the quest The Sanctuary Must Not Fall. This quest is an important part of the Firelands quest chain, which you can learn more about in the Guide to the Molten Front. Unlocking areas in this zone will open up dailies that reward Mark of the World Tree, which can purchase fun items like Mylune's Call.
Malorne is the focus of the Druid Class Campaign in Legion. You lead the ritual to contact the white stag; you find out he is trapped in the Emerald Nightmare that is steadily encroaching upon Azeroth and the Dreamgrove. You must then save Malorne from the Nightmare, as he constantly relives his death at the hands of Archimonde. The Class Campaign unlocks the Class Hall Set, title, several Artifact Tints, and many followers including Cenarius’ son Keeper Remulos.

Tauren and Yaungol

The Taunka have settlements in Northrend and Horde players learn more about their story while questing. Major quest hubs include Taunka’le Village, Camp Winterhoof, and Camp Oneqwah. In Blood Oath of the Horde, the Taunka swear allegiance to the Horde.
The Yaungol are a hostile race in Pandaria, primarily found in Kun-Lai Summit and Townlong Steppes. Ordos, a world boss, is the Fire-God of the Yaungol. Finding shrines for The Song of the Yaungol reveals more lore about the Yaungol. Clicking through to the achievements page will let you navigate and read more about the lore.
Qiang the Merciless is one of the bosses comprising the “Spirit Kings” encounter in Mogu'shan Vaults, the first raid of Mists of Pandaria. He drops his weapons Screaming Tiger, Qiang's Unbreakable Polearm and Steelskin, Qiang's Impervious Shield.

The Tauren are one of the original Horde races in Warcraft, with capital city Thunder Bluff and starting zone Mulgore. In Battle for Azeroth, players can unlock the Highmountain Allied Race, the proud descendants of Huln Highmountain.

Rise of the Night Elves and Queen Azshara

Azshara, the catalyst for War of the Ancients, will play a major role in Patch 8.2 and here is where you can learn more about her:

Leading up to BlizzCon 2018, we speculated on how N'Zoth and Azshara would make an appearance in the Battle for Azeroth story. Every time we've fought an Old God in the past, it has been as a unified Alliance and Horde. The Old Gods could be trying to divide us, so we cannot stop N'Zoth.
The Crucible of Storms raid also links Azshara to the Circle of Stars prophecy:
When she struck her bargain with N'Zoth ten thousand years ago, Queen Azshara offered one of her most devoted followers into the Old God's service. Now Uu'nat and the crawling masses he commands herald the coming of their master, as foretold by the stars.

Back when "Warbringers: Azshara" was released, we analyzed all the visuals linking the cinematic to the Circle of Stars prophecy. Eyeballs, rings, and lighting in the shape of circles plays a prominent role in the cinematic. She appears to be destabilizing both the Alliance and Horde forces--perhaps knowing that we're weaker when we don't work together.We learned in a BlizzCon Interview that the Crucible of Storms is an exposed piece of N'Zoth--this is bound to play a role in later patches.We've speculated on where the story of Azshara could go in a past collaboration with Nobbel87--Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara.War of the Ancients

Bits and pieces of the War of the Ancient are glimpsed in-game. The Well of Eternity dungeon, added in Cataclysm, lets players time-travel to assist Illidan and Tyrande in battling the Burning Legion at the Well of Eternity. The Huln's War quest series in Highmountain gives us another taste of how heroes fought in battle, as well as the Druid Campaign Quest The War of the Ancients.

Archimonde is a boss in both Burning Crusade and Warlords of Draenor.
In The Burning Crusade, players go back in time to Battle of Mount Hyjal where Archimonde aimed to destroy the World Tree and absorb its power. In Warlords of Draenor, an alternate reality, Archimonde leads the demons in an invasion of Draenor. When he is defeated in Hellfire Citadel, he reminds Gul'dan that they had a pact, sending him through the Black Gate. It is later revealed, in a Legion cinematic, that Gul'dan steals Illidan's remains from Vault of the Wardens.
There are several special rewards for defeating Archimonde during Warlords of Draenor: Time is a Flat Circle on Normal+ difficulty, Reins of the Grove Warden on Heroic+, and and Felsteel Annihilator on Mythic.
Before Archimonde was corrupted by Sargeras, he murdered Thal'kiel, an Eredar master of summoning demons that pushed too far into the Void. Thal'kiel's skull, Skull of the Man'ari, served as a warning about power to the other Eredar.

Malfurion Stormrage

Malfurion first played a notable role in Cataclysm. Leveling players see him trying to stabilize Darkshore, heavily damaged by the Cataclysm. We learn at the end of the zone that the troubles are caused by Azshara--an interesting detail as she's a major antagonist of the current expansion. Malfurion then plays a large role in the story of Mount Hyjal, banishing Ragnaros back to the Firelands, a story continued in Patch 4.2 in the Molten Front Quest Zone and raid zone Firelands.
With the re-emergence of his brother Illidan Stormrage in Legion, the family dynamic is explored in greater detail. A special quest series examines the growing rift between Malfurion and Illidan, putting Illidan in a more-sympathetic light than in past expansions. First, in Awakenings, we see the celebration of the two babies, with comments on Illidan's unusually-glowing eyes and destiny of greatness. Next in An Unclear Path, we see Cenarius turn away Illidan as a student of Druidism, and then in Ravencrest's Legacy, we see Illidan make grisly but necessary choices in War of the Ancients which helped the Night Elf cause but at a great cost. In In My Father's House we see his transformation into a Demon Hunter, and finally, in Destiny Unfulfilled, we relive Illidan's defeat at the Black Temple--slain by the adventurers he hoped to protect with his actions.
The search for Illidan's body (The Hunt for Illidan Stormrage) starts in early Legion, and in the Trial of Valor we eventually reclaim Illidan's soul from Helya (Trial of Valor: The Once and Future Lord of Shadows). Then in the Nighthold raid, after we face the final boss Gul'dan, Illidan is revived. In the final raid cinematic, we see Illidan defeat Gul'dan (with visuals paralleling Gul'dan's defeat of Varian).
In Patch 7.2, Illidan leads the charge back to the Broken Shore, now a special quest zone, and the Tomb of Sargeras Raid, which culminates in the Kil'jaeden Boss Cinematic. Illidan uses the Sargerite Keystone to access Argus, the homeworld of the Legion easily.
In Patch 7.3, we go to Argus and strike at the Legion. You can learn more about the quests, rare spawns, and collectibles in our Comprehensive Argus Guide--reputations from this zone are also needed to unlock Lightforged Draenei and Void Elves. Once we take the fight to Antorus, defeating the final boss Argus the Unmaker, a cinematic plays dramatizing Illidan's choice to stay behind with Sargeras, serving as his jailor and tormentor for eternity.
Upon defeating Argus the Unmaker, players loot the Alor'idal Crystal which starts a quest, Moments of Reflection, with Illidan. He has left two messages for Tyrande and Malfurion, expressing his love and pride for them, for them to read after he's sealed away as Sargeras' jailer. You can read the messages in full here.
Malfurion's story then presses forward in Battle for Azeroth. During the Burning of Teldrassil in the pre-patch, he leads the Elven defense against Sylvanas, buying time for more Night Elves to evacuate. This quest series is no longer playable, but you can read how it turns out in our Burning of Teldrassil write-up and recap of the pre-patch novellas which include many details left out of the quests. The story ends with Malfurion gravely wounded by Saurfang, then revived and healed by Tyrande and the power of Elune.
Malfurion's latest appearance is in the Battle of Darkshore, a new Warfront in Patch 8.1. The player gets a taste of his vengeful side in the "Terror of Darkshore" cinematic, in which he attacks a Horde supply crew as a warning of what is to come. Tyrande then undergoes the special Night Warrior ritual to gain additional powers of Elune, which also grants Night Elves new customization options. Malfurion and Xavius

Xavius later played a large role at the start of Legion. Guardian Druids first encounter Xavius in the Claws of Ursoc artifact acquisition—where he is successful at capturing Ursoc and bringing him to the Nightmare.
Xavius is then the main antagonist of the Legion leveling zone Val’sharah. He steals the Tears of Elune, corrupts Cenarius, kills Ysera, and captures Malfurion, After being tricked by Xavius to chase illusions of her husband, Tyrande is offered an ultimatum—save the Temple of Elune and kill Ysera, or continue chasing Malfurion to be reunited before he dies. Completing the zone rewards That's Val'sharah Folks!, which is required for Pathfinder,
The story then continues in Darkheart Thicket, a Legion dungeon where players rescue Malfurion. This dungeon is still useful for transmog collectors interested in the Balance Druid artifact appearance The Sunbloom.
Xavius’ story culminates in the Emerald Nightmare raid, the first raid of Legion. Learn about his abilities in the Xavius strategy guide. It’s still worth farming Xavius, even in BFA, for The First Satyr's Spaulders, , Dream Whelpling, and Illusion: Nightmare.
