Child of Pa'ku and Thunder Lizard Runt should have looked like baby forms like Lil Ben'fon, Tiny Direhorn, and Lost Platysaur..... Could have finished the Land Before Time crew....... Instead they're shrunken models x.x

Im so so so so exited about new pet-raid ^^ Let's see, how's soon we will get 2k pets (we know, 1085 pets already in game + recently added in this post) :)
So we've got a box with four possible pets and a currency.Does that mean there are other pets to purchase, or is it going to take like... two to three weeks for enough currency for the box?

2000 pets? Why?It's not like one would need two of every single pet or even if all of the new ones come with different breeds.By now I am mostly adding one of each that is new to the collection, "stone" it to 25/blue and be done.This brought me to 952 unique and 1200 in total so far.There are 104 left for me to collect and some of these de-facto unobtainable.Plus 29 that are definately unobtainable.So we have less than 1100 pets in game currently.Collecting them, yeah!And they are still coming up with new and fancy models.But if you have the like 25 different spiders you do not need different breeds for all of them on top of that for letting them fight.The battle aspect has become a bit overwhelming by now and dull.

I'm hoping those are placeholders for the new pet models... especially feathers and mechantula (being as they don't remotely look like mechs atm)2000 pet item, cool. hopefully that means there's plans for lots and lots more pets to come :D also wondering if you need the 1500 one first... kind of hope you do so people can't skip that (is a decent amount of work after all). I too thought/hoped that the mechantula was a mount when I first heard about itI'm hoping those pets aren't the ones you get from gnomey pet dungeon, as apart from feathers being a mech, they don't even remotely fit in with the theme of gnomeregan. In fact, they're more in line with mini loa from zandalar. also, I'm curious to see they have both a 'goodie bag' and a currency for this one... I really dislike the bag and 'rare drop' acquisition from wailing caverns (I'm still trying to get everliving spore after many attempts, but have had multiple of the other 2 drop) compared to purchasing them from a guaranteed coin per week (like deadmines, which I finished after 6 weeks). Unless of course the new bag contains a guaranteed coin, some charms/stones etc, and a chance at one of the pets you can buy (and not other pets that you can't just buy)... hmm...
The recipe for the Mechantula says it is a piece of champion equipment. There isn't a pet in the journal for it. Is there actually a pet that was datamined or did you just assume the Mechantula was a pet without reading the recipe? Which, granted, looks like it will be changed as the item doesn't match the recipe.
On the contrary. I keep multiples of quite a few pets to minimize the need for healing up. I also keep multiple breeds of some pet types because sometimes you need fast, sometimes you need tanky. Just because you dont play that way means the rest of the community is the same.
