We all know what's coming...
Sounds really like a contrived plot just to justify that "Forsaken aren't evil, the humans that rejects them are evil. Boo ! Alliance deserve only to be killed". This time for some reasons they warn and are reluctant to raise a guy that wants to be undead when most of the time they're shown slaughtering humans and raising them into battle.(Andorhal, Lordaeron city, the captain they've just killed) I wasn't much interested into that character so I don't know that much about her but isn't she supposed to hate above everything else necromancers ? When did she joined the horde to begin with ?
I have completely given up now. They've completely destroyed all lore related to the Light. They've whitewashed the Iron Horde. They've turned Liadrin from a noble paladin seeking redemption to a foaming at the mouth Horde fanatic. They made Garona proud of killing her friend King Llane. They keep twisting and retconning Sylvanas' motivations for starting a brutal war where now currently it's the Prophet Sylvanas "pre-emptively" attacking the Alliance and anyone who might so much as give a bandaid to the Alliance and now....
Flight Whistle will be a thing again? I guess it will have to do until we get flying.
I agree the whole story with the tidesage is a welcome turn for the Forsaken as a race to show how they COULD blend in with the living races of Azeroth.....it s just completely ruined and made hillarious by the story surrounding it, especially with that Captain Stone. It's the same thing with Teldrassil and Lordaeron...it seems Blizzard has decided on some "plot moments" that are important for them to showcase....and then they tried their best to write a story around it leading to those moments and containing them all.The result is a very bumpy ride, to say the least.
The issue is even without the hilarious contradiction and hypocrisy the tidesage plot still falls flat because it is inconsistent with the portrayal of the Forsaken... everywhere. They have a Forsaken leader committing atrocity after atrocity and her Forsaken lackey revelling in it, and the Forsaken themselves quite happy to engage in spreading blught and numerous other acts of pure evil....... and wer're supposed to have sympathy for the undead tidesage's family viewing him as a monster? If you want to present it as unreasonable and a sad consequence of fear that his family reject him for being a Forsaken monster.... don't make the Forsaken monsters at every opportunity.Because all I feel when I read that is that his wife and children are right to fear him, and should flee while they can before he decides to experiment on them for fun.
Oh look it's that same person complaining about an unfinished product on yet another post who isn't even going to play it because they've canceled their sub. If it bugs you so much stop following it. No one's making you come to the comments and complain and it's not gonna change anything. It hasn't worked for those whose fanfiction has been ruined with the last 6 expansions and it won't this time. Adapt your head cannon or take a break. Leave the comments for discussion not "woe is me" whinings. You're not going to like every writing choice in an evolving decade+ aged story and that's okay. That being said it's definitely interesting how theyre setting up the forsaken to raise their enemies like in cataclysm. I wonder if it'll just end up giving that forsaken council more memebers and lead to instability. Almost seems like Sylvannas is making use of old plans which, while tactically smart (nothing like having the information of your enemies from the source) might bite back later. Maybe this will lead to undead allied races?
Oh look it's another person who cannot stand and cannot argue against my well thought out views, and has to make the conversation about me and my motivations instead of the plot and lore and how it's being contradicted and ruined. What a surprise.
Never was trying to argue against your views or beliefs but I am sick of looking into the comments and seeing you QQ and complain on every single post, and I know I'm not the only one who shares that sentiment. There's always someone who thinks this expansion is the worst thing to ever happen to the game and yet...here we are, 14 years later. Relax. Take a step back. It's not the finished product and Blizzard has some experience in these things. Let them do their work. If you truely think that this writing is all that bad...maybe it's time to find a new game?
Again, no arguments just attempts at witless ad hominem attacks. I'm not going to explain my motivations to you.I am beyond caring at this point. Stick to the topic at hand or don't respond at all. Your cheap attacks are tiresome.
Hmm, well okay then. I guess you're free to make your sniffling and whiney claims and cause drama from comment section to comment section. I just would have liked to know we were roleplaying so I could make up my own egotistical yet pathetic character!
So collecting bodies and raising into Forsaken is all part of some plan Nathanos has to cripple the Alliance navy.Sylvanas could be oblivious to the finer details, or she could know it all. Would be interesting to find out.Lillian at least tried to get the Tidesage to see the error in what he wished before going through the process. Also giving some form of salvation to someone dying through illness. It'll be interesting to see how this goes beyond this.
it would be so funny if they raise daelin, oh boy.but anyway, nothing from the alliance war campaign yet?.
Now, they need to add Valeera Sanguinar to ranks of Horde, she's the only Horde race rogue who haven't joined Faction yet after Garona and Lilian.I mean family of Wrynn is no longer her business which Legion pretty much confirmed. As Uncrowned seems disbanding, only thing left for her to fight is her home, Silvermoon. I hope Blizzard will have something for herMaybe make Rogue Faction of Blood Elves with Valeera as leader, i mean half of the Rogue order hall were filled with Blood Elf NPCs, it's time to name themselves with something like The Crimson Blade or some sort.
Lillian will surely ignore Captain Stone's corpes and walk away terrified.
