I'm definitely liking the sound of the changes coming to Herbalism, Thanks for the video.Maybe it's just me, but I don't really like most of the skins for Staff's.... just most staff's in general. Eh, Maybe I'm just really picky when it comes to fancy sticks.
Reminds me that I finally need to level a Priest.
I like what I'm hearing about herbalism, it's adding a new depth to the game. Rather then just mindlessly flying around picking plants, they are making it more interactive and interesting. What all are they doing with mining and skinning? I would think they would make those two more interesting too. With these new changes to gathering, do you think they will eventually make gathering skills (herb, mine, skin) secondaries everyone can have (like first aid, cooking, archaeology), rather then one of the two main professions? If so, what damage do you think that would do to the market?---On the Collectors EditionSo you're saying they should have an option to split the Collectors Edition, so rather then just buying the box set and picking it up at release, they could alternatively offer a "split kit". Which would be a digital code and a box kit, sort of combo pack, for the same price? That could be interesting. You could buy the split kit, get your codes right away, and then get the rest of your kit (no codes included) on release? That could probably work. I could see it working well enough for like the blizzard store, but might be a little more difficult for anyone using something like Wal-Mart or Gamestop. Then again, if they do a split kit, you wouldn't need to release it at other stores, because there wouldn't be an immediate need to have the rest of the kit because you would get your digital codes right away, so it coming through the mail wouldn't be a problem. Not a bad idea Panser. :)I agree tho, they should offer a refund for people or something other then "buy it again!". Legion will be the first time I've been able to afford to buy a Digital Deluxe (Physical Edition is still out of my budget), and that's only if no surprise bills pop up. Like me, a lot of people buying a collectors edition is a big deal because it's so expensive, like a special once a year treat. Then they go and expect people to spend even more money on it, essentially buying it twice? for some people that's a huge breaker, that's ridiculously expensive! I had a friend ordered the physical collectors of WoD, and it was coming late, so he bought a standard digital to be able to play on release, and then gave me his WoD standard key when his collectors came in, using that method. But he did that because he wanted to play right away, not because he was forced to in order to enjoy early rewards. What they are asking people to do for Legion is stupid. "Hey buy it twice, if you want the physical collector and early play rewards!" I can see a lot of Digital Deluxe keys being thrown onto Ebay in the first week of release, or people trying to sell them for gold to friends or guildmates (regardless of it being against ToU).
Why not just offer an additional upgrade option, in the Blizzard store, to a physical CE where the extras involved are mailed out to those who choose to buy it...?EDIT - What @Purgatorywolf said...
Panser:It's not 'urb'It's 'Herb', with an 'H'.Urbalism in Legion does look awesome.
Now back on topic.I find it strange that specific herbs are limited to certain zones. I would have thought that if Blizzard really wanted to allow us to level anywhere we wanted, they would have provided mixes of all herb types in all zones.Very strange.
As a feral druid, I pronounce it "Hairballism" *cough* =^_^=
Hmm, i want the collector edition, but i already payed for the digital deluxe version also, but errm i do not have anyone to give the code to, so i will just have a code that i cant do squad with :/But what i think they should do is just ship the Collector Edition a bit earlier, its not that you have anything to use the game to before release date anyway, so if you get lets say 1 week head start with digital edition, then just ship the Collector edition that week before release, who cares that you have the book, items and that before the "official" release anyway.
The flavour Text on Frost DK's Icebringer hit's me right in the nostalgia feels.
