BRING BACK ALUNETH
I got "Your world is dying. Breathe deep and accept that you have caused your end." on my Evoker.
well, *lorewise* it was the horde players who cleansed the eyes. That's the headcanon I have for my character as well. When I got the 3rd quote on my main, about aiding to end all things, I had no idea what she talked about. I guess I just forgot so much from BfA, lol.
Is this the first time since BFA that those of us who didn't cleanse the Eye got a special interaction?
Huh, she did the no cleanse eye thing on me but I did do that.I guess I am the void double agent.
Crappiest decision for them to tie that dialogue to Cleansing the eye. Im a Xalatath simp and the whole eye cleansing was NZOTH, it was not Xalatath's eye. If it said Xalatath's eye I would never have cleansed it. They gotta rework this crap.
Now I wish I hadn't cleansed the eye from my priest. Wish there was a way to get the gift back.
My main (edit: not a Void Elf, regular space goat rolled in BC) got "Xal'atath whispers: I told you that you were destined for great things. Rejoice, for you have aided the end of all things." but they had cleansed the eye and they did the dagger quest... so not sure those are lined up right. My shadow priest kept the eye (until Blizzard randomly ATE IT - but they still never did the cleanse quest) so it'll be interesting to see which she gets.It would be nice if they would give people who never did the cleanse quest a way to get the eye back since it's provably been removed by ~something~ (no one seems to know 100% for sure what) in the interim.
Remember when we thought that eye did something awesome? Yeah...
I never did BFA on my priest and never did the nazoth stuff on my main with bfa anyone who can tell me where to go for this xal'atath questline in bfa so I can get the extra on my priest?
Finally some recognition for those of us who still wear the Gift.
It's so great that they tied that in as a continuation for us shadow priestesses. It truly was a fun part of BOA to get chuckles and whispers while interacting with characters as well as environments. Claudia Christian's voice is so mysterious, risqué and tempting to lure you to the dark side in the most playful way. Glad they have people keeping the dibs on past expansions and lore.
Looks like my mage has been a priest in disguise all those years >.>
I knew we shouldn't have helped her.
