This is probably obvious to everyone else, but just wanted to share in case it happens to you.Be careful about starting this event close to the daily quest reset time (9:00 am server, I believe)--you will lose all progress even if the only thing left is to kill the boss.I had just filled the progress bar, was making my way to the boss and it just disappeared. At first I thought I missed it because I took too long to get to it, but then realized what had happened when the event showed up elsewhere on the map after a few minutes.
Just completed the "Wrath of the Jailor" event (in the Maw). I got 100 Ve'nari rep. That's it. I know there's a "chance" for 180-something gear, but I have crap luck with RNG... so... ya, there's that.
Well, that genuinely sucks. These should be like other boss mobs and taggable by either faction.
Is this worth doing? I've only ever seen the icon on the minimap for like 2 minutes before it vanishes and nothing seems to be in the area. Seems like kind of a pain the chase around for little to no percievable gain.It actually reminds me of the 'elemental invasion' events blizzard put in in vanilla. Where the elemental lords would send npcs to place that no one ever goes to, and they've drop... generic greens and blues.
Can you still do Wrath of the Jailer after you have disabled the Eye in 9.1?

Does this event even spawn anymore? I haven't seen it in a week.
Decided to make a druid, and this is a really stupid way to lock a legendary. and yes I know that I can eventually get it with grateful tokens.. Never, ever do this garbage again.
