So the title was the prompt, right? Now that low fruit's out the way, some actual hiccups with Valeera: She doesn't always spawn an agony, and sometimes will spit one out when she's full health and in utterly no danger. She's kept Brann's acquired trick of stealthing over to a node, gathering from it whilst re-appearing, and pulling the mobs standing nearby. If she's eating at the campfire, sometimes nothing will move her until is finished(including Leap of Faith), with the exception of the "respawn here" option at the supplies. Occaisionally(Far more likely on Nullaeus's adds) she will decide that both levels and gear are entirely unneeded for this particular mob in that particular delve, resulting in her both dealing and recieving damage like a naked level 1 on Mythic Belo'ren. When pulling a pack, Valeera may decide that a seperate mob slightly closer to her current position is more fun, and go ham on that instead. When stealthing by groups, sometimes she'll pull, realise she shouldn't have and use feign death(?), and sometimes that'll cause the mobs to then beeline to Still-in-Stealth and until then out-of-combat me. Oh, and Tricks of the Trade seems to sometimes do strange things to her aggro - and I don't mean spells that Must Hit A Player. It's like she's got spell reflect up and Tricks simply means 'Hit the player' . All that aside, in a bit over 600 delves I'm simply not seeing what the author describes (Plus, of course, the flatly wrong information on how her Agony clones work). Mostly, I will be DPS with Tank Val. Others I use DPS Val with me as Tank, and on one I go Disc with her Tank. In all cases, the clear time (banner & 4 nemesis packs included) is rarely more than 10 minutes and often a fair bit less. Her damage as tank on my disc priest is easily comparable to her as dps, and she handles multiple packs including nemeses with little trouble(Notwithstanding the "I am level 1 for this pull!" apparent bug mentioned above, and Nullaeus minions...).But hey, Engagement right? Give ol Topular a pat. (I found another fruit.. :p )
She is so much worse than Brann. I use her as heal. Yesterday in the Academy delve she ran back to pull a mob i wasnt in fight with. then she portet back next to me and i had to deal with her crap. and her stun is the worst. i wanna taunt a mob away from a pack and she flies in and stuns it so they sit there and the rest of the pack can move closer to get a nice junk of body aggro from her.
She is only horrible on nullaus due to blizzard making him hit her like a truck in tank spec. Just make her dps and it is all good if you want to complete the challenge on ? as healer.
She does great in my opinion, especially compared to Brann. On my rogue she does in heal 60k dps and tosses hearts frequently, which at least one always hits you. On my tank in dps she does 85k dps and oneshots elites <50%.
She's an infinitely better companion in each role than Brann ever was.
So many of these "articles" sound more like opinion pieces lately, it's kinda insane.
She's a terrible everything. Does basically no damage, does basically no tanking (no self-sufficiency unlike literally every actual player tank), healing is barely there.Which is kind of also what Brann was like so, nothing changed.
Some A.I. wrote this post.Or perhaps just someone who never tried Delves more than 1-2 times.
Playing as WW she holds threat very well as tank. Her biggest problem as tank is that she cant survive the nemesis summon in a delve. The 2 adds he spawns kills her quickly.
I play Devourer and have no issues with her as a tank at all. She picks up enemies well enough, and if she leaks then I kite whatever enemy I aggroed into her ground poison which lets her pick up aggro. Align Void Ray to hit both enemies and her Agony and she'll stay healthy as well.
As a Resto Druid, I find her tanking easy mode for Delves. Tier 11 havent been a problem. I overheal her and she holds threat most of the time. I sit back and watch her health and thats about it. Havent tried her as DPS yet.
Hey yeah, this is grossly misleading. Lvl 60 Valeera does not die. How bout actually playing the game if you're gonna write here.
