Yay. We're in the Canon bois. Woohoo!
Seems about right. The only surprise to me is Dire Maul, which I thought would be an Alliance thing for sure, what with the Highborne/Night Elf connection.
Good to hear that the Taunka and the Frostborn Dwarves are now CANON allies of the Horde and Alliance. This doesn't confirm any Allied Race news, but I am happy to know that this leaves the door open for it down the line.
Blackwing Descent is mysteriously missing.
That Majordomo (?) art is stunning, and really creepy.
What a surprise - They wrote the Horde as carrying most raids and dungeons. Bravo Blizzard! Any other achievement done by both factions you want to shovel onto the Horde in an effort to bolster their list of accomplishments? That giant orc statue outside your office isn't shiny enough apparently.
One thing I notice here is that horde did vanilla zul’gurub, so therefore I’d say that the horde is responsible for releasing the corrupted Blood plague on the world :P
Eh, I think they may have taken the canonization too far with this. A lot of us play this game to immerse ourselves in the lore and our characters' backgrounds. Suddenly wiping out a huge swath of potentially millions of players' headcanon seems a bit drastic for little to no gain.I guess I'm fortunate in that my own imagined adventures aren't too affected. For example, my main (BE Pally) fought Kael'thas at both in the Eye and at Magister's Terrace, and was present with Liadrin (but didn't necessarily fight) at the culmination of the Sunwell raid. So he's safe. In fact, his adventures are further cemented as canon. I should be thrilled, I guess. But I have nothing against someone who, for example, imagines their Gnome Rogue and the Alliance murdered Kael twice. That is (or was) their right as a player. Live and let live. So I kind of feel bad for someone in that position.WoW's universe was so rich and magical without needing to specify which faction won which dungeon/raid, so what really is the point? Why not instead go the wowpedia/wiki route and just use the faction-neutral " was defeated by Adventurers in ?"tl;dr I think some things could be left in the air for the sake of the fanbase, and everything would be just a-okay
The Alliance dealt with the hardest raid of Vanilla and BC while the Horde was busy with centaurs and corrupted druids ? I guess I understand why the Alliance cleared a smaller quantity of dungeon. Still, this tell us something about Vanilla : Most of the dungeon were close to Horde Capitals.
interesting,so the alliance take AQ from vanilla and KJ from Bc...i am loving this !
Whoever said champions are cannon needs to be fired. We champions have done nothing but bad to the world. Perc, we champions are cowards, idiots, and crybabies - we've done more bad to the word than good. WE ARE NOT HEROES!
Wow...that is a lot of Horde, especially in Vanilla. How typical of Blizzard.
Yes the Horde seems to have more but the Alliance took out big ones like C'thun and Kil'jaeden.
that is, the horde after the TBC had much leadership in saving the world from the devastation, while the alliance was only responsible for eliminating the heroes of Azeroth, sounds cool.It is one more reason because their racial skills of the Alliance are only pvp in exchange for the horde is more pve.
Alliance bois mad for vanilla horde accomplishments.... Come on guys. Are you this sensitive about this? Do i need to remind you that imbalance is minor and there's a lot of stuff missing? Horde if anything is going to be painted as bad faction because if rumors are true, Sylvannas was first to start BfA shanenningans with burning Teldrasil. So sure, be proud of your faction but don't act like Alliance is on the loosing end because they are not.
