You can also get Party Sycned with someone who hasnt finished the Quest yet so you can tame it later on when there isnt that many People on the Quest in Case you already completed it on your Hunter.
Glad I checked with Beast Lore before I finished that quest.
This was a difficult tame. Of course, those trying to unlock Tazavesh objectively have the right of way with this, but then you got all the other hunters spamming /tar macros in an attempt to start taming before you even see it spawn in fully. Then you have the patient folks who wait for others who were there first to get theirs before you go crazy, followed by the ones who just rush in and try to tame regardless of arbitrary queues. Considering how easy the quest Dead Drop is, it's a wonder why they didn't just phase it to single player/party phases. Still, I got mine after 2~ hours (thank god for two monitors), and I wasn't going for a second. Sadly, it doesn't keep its name when tamed. It's 2021; ALL tameable beasts should keep their name and have a one time rename option upon being tamed. So many interesting names, lost because only some quest objectives and most rares keep their names.EDIT: Also, the database can lie sometimes. There's a few beasts labeled as tameable, but they are absolutely not. Wish Blizzard would just let us tame everything at this point. If it's a beast or close enough to one (protean horrors, plant hydras, etc), we should be able to grab them.

Honestly, I'm really angry with how Blizzard chose to implement this pet. It's the only tamable aquilon in the entire game right now, it's only available during a very particular quest, the quest isn't a personal phase, and the quest is required to unlock the newest dungeon.Blizzard kind of gave a big "eff you" to hunters who both want the pet and want to run the dungeon with their guildies. I had to miss out on it last night because my guild was waiting on me, and I couldn't find any point where I was alone or there were people willing to wait to let me tame. Really hoping the party sync thing works!ETA: Thanks to a helpful guildie and the luck of an empty room, I managed to get my aquilon!
I was in the same boat and Party Sync did not work. I was still phased out. :(
Dang... Now that I already finished the questline on my hunter, I learn about this.
Took me about 45mins to finally get two of them. I got lucky and a small group of Horde actually let me tame my first (being alliance this was nice of them). Then swapped to warmode on an RP server to get my second. I really like this pet. Its a great skin. I wish I was still in Kyrian to have the mount to but love it.

I used war mode and came back at around 2:30 am. It was slow by then, and I got lucky when some one was friendly enough to let me tame it after they arrived . Good luck to other hunters!
Its blizzards attention to detail that always gets me. Add new pet type, forget to properly implement it.
