Not gonna lie, the creation catalyst is a fantastic idea and suddenly gives value to items which usually would never have been used.. well.. technically they don't get used as they get turned into something else.. but still. I really like it!
It’s great that mythic plus vault gear is as good. Those doing runs aren’t coming out worse off..Now to get a vault piece in a slot I need….

Mail really got the short end of the stick. At least in terms of BoEs and the World Boss Antros.Antros' 2 items for mail characters, 2, don't have any relation to the tier slots, while, for example, Plate has head and chest if I'm not mistaken. Leather and Cloth have at least 1 on him, and by the looks of that list, the 3 other have an advantage too.
Yeah, my alt plate users can get 259 (I think) head and chest from the world boss, in fact my warrior has both so he will have two higher tier slots than any of my other alts. My main will have higher gear cause he does M+ but it’s odd that certain classes can get more “solo content,” tier than others
So plate can get 4pc from world boss and boes? And mail gets 1 pc? Very well thought out system yet again.
An interesting side effect of this is that the wealthy can now get tertiaries and/or gem sockets on select Mythic set pieces by buying a boe with those attributes. Tertiaries and sockets are maintained through the upgrade process.
If BOEs from Auction house are too expensive you can still use items from m+.The tier items converted from m+ keep their upgrade capability after the conversion. So it is valid to convert them to get the 4-set bonus before the m+ items are at max, and upgrade them with mythic currency later.
absolutely m+ tier is a reallly good option for alts.. because 272 is a perfectly good ilvl, reaching 15 is cakewalk this season (like seriously lol esp as we are still lower ilvl)and by the time you'd have 278s we would have catalyst charges more often
It will be much easier if they just add set items to in-game store. 20 euros per piece. Profit.
