Granyth casts his shadow over the plains of Ohn...ahra, appearing as an omen of death and destruction. As battles between centaur clans rage across the plains, he knows it is time to destroy his ancient enemies once and for all. Soon he will land on the battlefield. Clan Shikaar...s ballistae will be ready.
Violent storm winds ravage the Ohn'ahran plains. Balakar's stormcasters have coalesced the tempest's fury into an avatar of the storm. The Raging Tempest continues to gather power, not just to devastate the battlefield but the entire Dragon Isles. Unchecked, Primalist chaos will reign on the plains.
Uktel necromancers are resurrecting legendary centaur. The spirits of the first matriarch, Teera, and the centaur...s greatest warrior, Maruuk, have risen from their graves. These ancestors now kill on command. Once their fury has abated, perhaps they can find rest again... and eternal peace.
In Mythic difficulty, the tornadoes will travel back to the original impact location before disappearing.
In Mythic difficulty, the earth will erupt 2 more times before disappearing.
Balakar Khan is the ruthless leader of Clan Nokhud. His stormcasters have captured the great eagle spirit Ohn'ahra, and he wants to seize the Windmother's power. Hatred unites his clan against all "outsiders." As the relentless offensive continues, someone must stand up to this tyrant.
I really love the fact, that we're gonna be able to fly in the dungeon via dragonriding. I personally think it's such a cool concept, wonder why it wasn't used more frequently (perhaps they were scared from Oculus).
The term dungeon should really be put to rest. Instance is good enough. When we thing about it, hardly any of these instances happen in a "dungeon" and this one is even a fully open area. That aside, I like open instances like this. More space to manage mobs and come up with new strategies.
This concept looks amazing and I can’t wait to try it out. However, I have concerns about how it would work in M+. It’s either going to make the dungeon trivial (which I have no problem with, lol) or it has the potential to cause a lot of headaches and require memorizing tons of different routes depending on the weekly affixes (even more so than you have to already). I really want to be excited for this but all the years of M+ experience have thought me to be wary and this dungeon highlights how innovation and and the rigid M+ model clash.
I am genuinely excited for this dungeon!
Been doing a lot of Beta tests and TBH this is my least favorite dungeon, I love the concept but in practice... It's kind of a mess. Not a fan. Hope its better in M+ but I think it's going to be bad.
cool.
I've been wanting a mount reliant dungeon for a while, glad to finally see it.
