Upscaling is still terrible. Idk why the need to post them, when it's just someone running the file through a programme.
But Why?
The tech is impressive, but cinematics are animated at specific FPS for a reason; to make them look cinematic. You don't get the inconsistences/"errors" in CGI that you do in live-action, so they're manually added back in (motion blur, chromatic aberration, dust etc) so running the cinematics through an algorithm to smooth them out and get rid of all those cinematic qualities just... makes it look weird. The animations were made to work at 24fps, forcing them to 48fps can easily destroy a perfectly nice bit of anim (example: captain's head turn at 1:28 and p much the entire fight).

Higher fps doesn't really means its better. An interesting sight after all, nice job.. I guess, but personally I dont like it. The dynamics of the animation reminds me of those brazilian drama tv series my granny used to watch.
It just straight up looks bad. Increasing the framerate of something animated, regardless of 3D or 2D, looks like garbage because you take the hard work animators put in into making something looking as smooth as possible on a target framerate ,mostly 24 FPS, and throwing it in the garbage.
I have to agree with a lot of others, the quality is sub-par, especially the beginning. Certain parts looked janky.

Oh my lord.;..please no more upscaling vids, you just butchered the MoP cinematic something fierce. The opening scene was INTENDED to be slow to inflect a sense of caution and mystery....absolutely trashed at faster speeds.Scenes have extreme frame tearing...I mean really if wow played like this, players would set Blizz HQ on fire in protest.Blizz is the only ones who can do this properly since they retain the assets used to create. Thus they can render it at the correct resolution and frame rate, Snazzy butchers every single cinematic that gets upscaled, for the love of holy light STOP advertising for Snazzy. It is an abomination. Anyone who thinks this is sexy or great looking needs their head checked, it looks like garbage and plays like it too.

You know, you can always just avoid clicking on these articles, if you don't want to see them, right? Not everything can be interesting for everyone. I don't use the AAP addon in WoW or play Classic, so there are already two articles I've no use for, but that doesn't make them less interesting for others.I found this article interesting, as I like to see how the cinematics would look with upscalling, so I clicked on it. If you don't, then why even click?
