And absolutely no one is surprised. I wouldn't be surprised if they're going to delay the actual release of Shadowlands to another month. The game isn't ready and the fact we still don't have a pre-patch date is concerning.

Hopefully this means they're tweaking the zombie event to be less of a disappointment.
I hope they increase the drop chance of stuff on pre-patch. But given how disconnected the War of Thorns felt i like short pre patchs to tell stories.
October 6/7 pre patch maybe but only 2 weeks for shadowlands?
The patch then went out broke beta servers, so guessing this was a mistake.

Honestly, not surprised, and actually happy about this. Blizz should absolutely NOT RUSH ANYTHING and actually bring out some decent content with as few bugs as possible imho. I wouldn't be surprised if they push back shadowlands too, and honestly I'd be PLEASED, if this meant that the game felt more polished and overall gave me a better playing experience, rather than a rushed half-assed bag full of lame that is pushed out the door with crap systems that we're stuck with for the next 2yrs

IMHO the 27 october will be prepatch release date than a game, just to out with honor from the entire situation... but ofc i can be mistaken ;)
It's been 9 months since the last real content release. They're running out of time to use "we just want quality assurance" as a cushion.
