Complete the scenario quest Assault on Broken Shore. This will unlock all the content on the Broken Shore, including building construction and new World Quests, as well as Cathedral of Eternal Night.

Complete the quest Seeking Lost Knowledge to reach Artifact Knowledge 26 and unlock Work Orders up to Rank 50. AK 25 is 25,000% and AK 26 is 100000% so it's a big gain! You need to use the Empowered Elven Tome in your bag to reach AK 26.

Complete the questline for Empowered Artifact Traits if you have 35 Traits or more. This unlocks even more powerful traits which should make Nighthold easier.

Farm Armies of Legionfall reputation, as you will need Revered for Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part Two.

Complete turnins for your preferred Broken Shore Building, which is a region-wide building effort.

Farm Nethershards on the Broken Shore to purchase fun reputation items, or gear for alts.

Work on each step of the 11-week Broken Shore Campaign (Breaching the Tomb) so you're not behind on unlocking the Class Mount.

Save up 0 Order Resources to research Rank 7 and Rank 8 Order Advancements - these provide champion and Artifact Power benefits. You will need to complete Champions of Legionfall before starting research though.

If you are Exalted with factions, work towards grinding reputation again as every 10k rep, you'll get a special satchel that can contain a mount!

Continue leveling up class champions as they can be legendary quality in the patch, and their ilvl has increased to 900!

As part of the campaign, new Champions are coming several weeks after 7.2. Once the champion is acquired, players can progress on Rank 7 and 8 Order Advancement (which requires 0 Order Resources total for research). The Legion Class Hall Guide is updated with new info on Champions and Advancements!

When the Broken Shore campaign is finished after at least 11 weeks, players can acquire Class Mounts.

Tomb of Sargeras, the raid for which 7.2 is named after, unlocks several months after Patch 7.2's launch. Look for more guides on the way! The Tier 20 Transmog Appearances will also be available when the raid opens.

We expect to see another round of class and Tier 20 set bonus tuning on the PTR between 7.2 and the launch of Tomb of Sargeras.

There are some rewards for completing Power Ascended like additional mount tints or A Tiny Set of Warglaives. This will not be obtainable for a while because you must first acquire the class mount (requires several months) and then acquire all of your Empowered Traits and max out the 4/4 Bronze Traits.

Unlock the world quests, new dungeon, and vendors on the zone by completing Assault on the Broken Shore. If your weapon has 35 traits or more, you'll get a questline to empower it as well.

On the Broken Shore, players can complete many World Quests for Armies of Legionfall reputation. The mobs on the Broken Shore also drop Nethershards, which are used to purchase gear and fun toys.

Players work together, in a region and faction-wide effort, to construct powerful buildings on the Broken Shore. You can turn in 0 Legionfall War Supplies to progress on the building of your choosing. Once constructed, each building lasts for 3 days and provides powerful perks. Then, it is under attack by the Legion and is on a cooldown period of one day before you can work towards rebuilding it Please read the Broken Shore Buildings Overview for a look at the perks and what buildings are ideal for your playstyle.

A fun group activity is the Sentinax Beacon Event - summon more and more demons for rewards like Nethershards - and even some profession items!

Comprehensive Broken Shore Guide

A new dungeon, Cathedral of Eternal Night, has been added to Heroic, Mythic and Mythic Keystone difficulties. Please see our Cathedral of Eternal Night Guide for more details.

The base health and damage of creatures in Heroic, Mythic and Mythic Keystone dungeons has increased. The rewards from these dungeons have also increased to compensate.

New Mythic Keystone affixes have been added, with other affixes being retuned or removed. Please see our Mythic+ guide for more details.

Artifact Power from Mythic Keystone dungeons have been adjusted based on length. Longer dungeons will reward more Artifact Power than shorter dungeons.

Tailoring, Leatherworking and Blacksmithing professions can craft BoE legendaries after finishing a questline and acquiring the materials: Celumbra, the Night's Dichotomy, Rethu's Incessant Courage, Vigilance Perch, The Sentinel's Eternal Refuge. These legendaries can be bought/sold on the AH and Nethershard Essence is a component that costs 8000 Nethershards.

Legendary bad luck protection will be spec-based in 7.2.

A large number of Legendaries received a tuning pass on their effect or gaining a third stat. Click here to see the full list of Legendary changes.

Relinquished tokens can be bought on the Broken Shore, which has a very small chance to contain a legendary. Theoretically, this means you are able to target a legendary, but you are still more likely to get a legendary through regular means.

Class Hall Sets can be upgraded to ilvl 870 via tokens like Farseer's Grandiose Armor Kit via Broken Shore World Quests.

Dungeon loot has gone up to ilvl 825 Normal, ilvl 845 Heroic, ilvl 865 Mythic.

There are four BoE crafted legendaries: Celumbra, the Night's Dichotomy, The Sentinel's Eternal Refuge, Vigilance Perch, Rethu's Incessant Courage

The Obliterum Forge questline is removed and crafted gear runs from ilvl 835 to ilvl 875.

The Broken Shore has two types of loot tokens purchasable with Nethershards: Dauntless Tokens for 400 and Relinquished Tokens for 5000.

Four new world bosses drop ilvl 890 loot: Brutallus, Apocron, Malificus, and Si'vash. These are only active when the Nether Disruptor building is active.

World Quest loot goes up to item level 860, from 845.

New Traits and AppearancesNew Traits

Players with 35 traits or more traits receive a quest in Patch 7.2 to empower their artifact weapon. When the questline is complete, your Artifact Weapon changes and you get the Power Unbound achievement.

The 20 point Infinite trait providing damage/stamina turns into one trait, and the benefits are spread among two traits - you will not get weaker.

There is a new Empowered set of traits plus an Infinite trait.

All of your original 3/3 traits can be expanded to 4/4.

When all other traits have been selected, you can progress on the new Infinite trait, Concordance of the Legionfall.

You can't use stockpiled Artifact Power items on the Empowered artifact.

The Artifact Power spent on the original Infinite trait is refunded. You can choose to spend that power maxing out old 4/4 traits or on the new Empowered artifact traits. The cost of traits from #37 onwards is much steeper in 7.2.

A new artifact style is available in Patch 7.2 - Challenging.

As the name suggests, this will be difficult to acquire. These will be unlocked behind solo challenges which can only be attempted if you have Empowered your artifact and the Mage Tower is active.

The other tints will come from raiding, PvP, and dungeons.

Artifact Power costs are rebalanced from Trait 37 onwards in Patch 7.2; the prices get quite steep and you are not intended to max out your 7.2 artifact weapon.

Artifact Knowledge now scales up to 50, and catch-up books will go up to 45.

Players at AK 25 can unlock the ability to progress towards AK 50 through Seeking Lost Knowledge on the Broken Shore.

All followers can be leveled up to Legendary quality and their maximum item level is increased to 900.

Each class recruits a new champion after completing Champions of Legionfall in the Patch 7.2 Campaign. The patch notes imply that you will need a certain reputation level with Armies of Legionfall to start this new quest line.

Mages and Paladins get extra followers - Maximillian of Northshire and The Great Akazamzarak. You can also silence The Great Akazamzarak in Dalaran with a new dialogue option in 7.2.

Order Advancements

After completing Champions of Legionfall, players can progress on Rank 7 and 8 Order Advancement.

Rank 7 is a choice between another champion slot and a powerful troop.

Rank 8 doubles the Artifact Power gained from world quests and missions.

Rank 1-6 Order Advancement is now much cheaper and faster in Patch 7.2! More details in the Order Advancements Overview.

Class Halls

The missions required for the first part of the Class Hall Campaign have all been nerfed to one hour.

There is a special achievement for completing the two new steps in Patch 7.2, the quest series that rewards the champion, and the final quest series that rewards the Class Mount.

Order Hall Sets can be upgraded to ilvl 870 via new tokens.

The Obliterum Forge no longer requires an elaborate questline - the Forge is already unlocked and you can start obliterating things. In Patch 7.2, crafted gear will start at ilvl 835 (up from 815) and go up to 875 with Obliterum. The Forge also allows you to obliterate PvP gear to get Echoes of Domination and Echoes of Battle, which are then used to purchase specific Legion PvP pieces.

There are new crafted legendaries: Celumbra, the Night's Dichotomy, The Sentinel's Eternal Refuge, Vigilance Perch, Rethu's Incessant Courage. These Legendaries are Bind on Equip, and can be sold or traded. In order to work on the chain, you'll need to have the Nether Disruptor building active in the Broken Shore.

Fishing: There is a new Underlight Angler appearance (Water Stone) and new fishing related items - Faintly Pulsing Felstone, Glowing Fish Scale, White Sparkly Bauble, Water Totem Figurine, Disgusting Ooze, Hatecoil Spearhead.

Cooking: Feasts now have significantly more stats! This makes them a lot more viable to use: Lavish Suramar Feast and Hearty Feast.

Inscription: There are glyphs on the way: Technique: Grimoire of the Wrathguard, Technique: Grimoire of the Shadow Succubus, Technique: Glyph of the Fel Succubus.

There are a number of other minor improvements to Archaeology, Alchemy, Engineering, Cooking etc.

When you click on a character, your character turns to stare at them now.

There is an "Open All" mailbox button.

The in-game calendar now has a mouseover tooltip for ongoing events.

You can now assign a specialization to an equipment set in the Equipment Manager.

Pet spells can now be dragged onto the player action bar.

Cruel Gladiator gear is a recolor of Tier 20 sets, which are high-definition versions of Tier 6 Black Temple armor.

There is a way to target PvP gear you want. The Forge also allows you to obliterate PvP gear to get Echoes of Domination and Echoes of Battle, which are then used to purchase specific Legion PvP pieces.

Vicious and Prestigious mounts are now account-wide!

Even more old PvP sets are available for Mark of Honor as Ensembles.

With the new season, there are new prestige rewards like Artifact Appearances.

There will be a different brawl every other week
