New Korthia Catch-Up Gear from Daily Quests Upgradable to Item Level 233 in Patch 9.1

The Archivists' CodexObtaining 9.1 Daily Quest Gear

Daily Quests in Korthia have a chance to give a piece of gear as a reward.

Covenant Assaults have a chance to give a piece of gear on its War Chest reward.

The Korthia weekly quest Shaping Fate grants a Death's Advance War Chest, which will always contain a piece of gear.

You can obtain additional 9.1 gear pieces from Korthian Armaments, purchased from Duchess Mynx in Keeper's Respite for 1000 Stygia. Requires Friendly with the Death's Advance faction. Korthian Armaments are Bind on Battle.net Account, which means these can be purchased and sent to alts.

Why couldnt we just upgrade with stygia or anima on alts rather than having to farm yet another resource and rep on alt. So not only do we have to grind a butt ton of currency (Yes, those prices are insane, for the rate you obtain the currency) to upgrade a SINGLE piece of gear on EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER, we have to get Exalted with the faction ON EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER.

Not to mention the fact we'll have to farm thousands of stygia to even get the gear you can upgrade in the first place.

I swear, Blizzard is trying to kill off alts.

And after ALL THAT WORK, which is way more work than M+ or raiding, the gear stops short of even heroic raid gear. That's a slap in the face.Comment by clik503If it is a catch up mechanic requiring renown 75 for an alt when the new cap is 80, it is probably a bit too high and that should probably be looked at and lowered or replaced with another requirement. Hoping the mission table can reward that currency, though.

And still a bit sour about the BoA token being not slot specific but if it's the same gear set as random Korthia dailies and Maw assaults, that's much better.

Would be neat to have zone effects like the covenant gear did but ah well.
