the primal elementalists can also be killed without needing slag, they too only have 60% damage reduction.
Me (prot pally) and my friend (ret pally) noticed this saturday afternoon. made things easier since we just need the 4 Q Items to unlock Blackhand.Howewer ( and this is off topic) we found a problem with Killrog in HFC on Mythi (haven't tried Normal or HC). He spawns 3 big adds at around ~20ish sec into the fight and we get MCed since we burst them down and get Fel Corruption, thus ending the fight. This also happends when trying to solo it. Did anyone else notice this.

Finally I can complete that blasted quest (pun intended :p) and farm blackhand every week!
A shame that at they fixed this, but in the midst of fixing HFCs health pools they broke the add spawn on Kilrogg. He's impossible to solo or two man now because instead of spawning one Hulk, he spawns 3 instantaneous, along with the two adds. The next instant hulk spawn spawns 2 at the same time and we really couldn't stay under 5. It was miserable last night. This was a nice surprise to find out while running BRF after that disappointment that was Mythic HFC.

I'm feeling myself fool of the year. I was Outlaw rogue all this time and tried several times to beat it and forgot i could just "buy" my way to loot
So I just did this yesterday and the mobs had the 99% reduction and the immunity until the slags were killed. I had friend bring her spriest in and we were able to knock it out as normal. HOWEVER, this was on a lockout from last week because I forgot and tried to start it way too late so I just extended the lock out that had the other two bosses already down. I will check this tomorrow at reset and see if it can be done without a mind control. If so this will be very nice as I had to give away the Blackhand mount because it was the first week of mythic personal loot and people started to cry about me winning it on personal loot. Oh well, at least my DK now has the required kills for blast furnace. Now if they would just nerf the council fight so I dont have to have two people into to do the ship phases.
*Plays Ode to Joy then starts to bathe in purples and rare mount drops*

I don't recall seeing this mentioned anywhere else but: night elf female unholy DKs also got a new animation for festering strike. I didn't see that documented.
