Mage Class Mount and Quest - Archmage's Prismatic Disc

Stage 1 - Prepare the Discs
Listen to Kalec's Instruction: Antonidas infused these discs with the very energies we mages seek to control. However, he and his fellow archmages were unable to diffuse the excess energy, leaving them in their current state. I will dismiss the wards keeping them in check. I believe that by channeling power through your artifact weapon into the discs, you will provoke a response. Should the need arise, these apprentices can supply you with essentials. I suggest you take note of their offerings.

The apprentices sell four items for 0 Order Resources each, as well as repairs and supplies:

Time Ripple Orb: Increase to haste and movement speed
Arcane Prevention Orb: Arcane absorb shield
Frost Prevention Orb: Frost absorb shield
Fire Prevention Orb: Fire absorb shield

Stage 2 - Disperse the Elements
Disperse the disruptive elements in each disc. In between each challenge, your cooldowns and debuffs are reset.

Arcane - fight Primal Rage of the Arcane which summons explosive arcane areas and mini-elementals.
Fire - fight the Magma Rager Primal Rage of Fire who has the abilities Suncharge, Rain of Embers, and casts meteors.
Frost - fight the Primal Rage of Frost who casts Frostbolt, Glacial Spear, Avalanche, and Summon Sparks.

It is so incredibly ugly, bland and dull that it's not worthy of being a mount you buy for 10g from a vendor, let alone a class specific mount. Compare this to literally any other class mount (including Warlock and Loladin horses) and sit in wonder as you stare at a Dalaran Sewer cover.

I'll do the quest chain, because it could be interesting, but this mount won't be used by myself or many of the Mage community. I'll even go so far as to actively /spit on those who do. So many potential Mage-themed mounts, and Blizzard goes with this...

That arcane mage is casting spells in the trial portion that are landing for over 1M damage! I hope this is because they have already done more of the artifact power improvements and other power up quests.. otherwise the trial portion just reminds me of the proving grounds... as far as the mount goes, I to will collect it just for the numbers... I might use it in my rotation of Eche'ro, The Grove Warden, The Headless Horsemans Mount, and my Bronze Drake...Comment by AgentkillerleePersonally I love the mounts.
