This cinematic is actually... good. Reusing the old dungeon in such a way that it appear plausible, and I do remember the old "drills" that were already mining what appeared to be a metaphoric blood of Azeroth... That's good, that's really good as a cinematic, even his way of facing us.
The room which the fight takes place oh god..But this video was 100th time better then the final one. damn
Jailer may not have been my favorite villain throughout WoW, and his story was poorly written, but damn did that intro actually make him feel like the "final boss" we're supposed to be fearing.
I appreciate using the Forge of Souls, though we weren't given any hint it can just mine Azerite. I thought it just ground like, other souls into power, like the Legion tech it should've been based on. And I do appreciate them using the Azerite sound profile!
Wow, the soul forges under ICC make a lot more sense now.
THE FORGE OF SOULS!
So that's the point huh?
Wait. Is the Jailer not in the Sepulcher? Then why is the beam going through the tower of Torgast into ICC? Am I missing something?
Can you lose on purpose so reality gets re-written?
Welp... It's confirmed. he lost because even after all those millenia he didnt roll the right azerite traits. unlucky
Seems like the room he is in, in the Sepulcher needed to be activated to power up the Forge of Souls on Azeroth. The beam then hits Torghast. The beams are not one in the same.
"It was you Zovaal! You were the World of Warcraft©: Shadowlands all along!"
Could we get full subtitles? Cuz I can't understand him through his mumbling.
So Azeroth is WoW's Laura Palmer. (that's an odd joke, some will get it maybe...)
How is Magni not here? "CHAMPION! AZEROTH IS IN DANGER!"
If ONLY the finale cinematic would have followed through. This first one is fantastic. It got me hyped for the finale one, to see what the hell is going on.The finale was just...lame, and awful. It explained nothing. It was a tremendous letdown. What in the hell, Blizzard? The finale should have had the effects of what the Jailer already did, or some consequence or illustration of his goal with the Forge of Azerite Vacuum Beam, that we just found out about thirty seconds ago. Have him explode some Alderaan first so we know what we're dealing with or what we just dodged for Azeroth! That lecture from the other Covenant leaders should have been dropped when we found out he was the old Arbiter. And by the way, we still don't know what exactly the heck he did. And if there really is some big bad the Jailer actually wanted to save the cosmos from, you'd think he'd have mentioned something about it by now besides *great and terrible voice* "WHAT IS TO COME" because all the info we've gotten from him so far is basic bad guy rhetoric - I Just Can't Wait To Be In Charge Of Everything. It would have been okay if he just wanted to be king of the universe. That's enough for a bad guy to want. Man, I miss Garrosh.
