barely any defensives except for your pet lmao hunter going to be even more squishy , didnt think that was possible , meanwhile rogue has more personals in the first 9 talents than in the entire hunter tree what a joke
After how excited I was at the Shadow Priest tree, I'm proper gutted looking at the BM hunter one D: Really hoping Blizz revisits their thoughts on it because right now it's everything I feared these trees would be, with too many core abilities too far down the tree and costing so many points, while locking abilities I want in my rotation behind ones I have zero interest in. Compared to Spriest this is a mess and I'm thoroughly disappointed, desperately hoping this is truly just the first iteration.
Garbo trees.Garbage talents litter the tree. Even worse leggo effects. Sylv 2.0 when they couldn't even make the "legendary" bow even purple worthy. MM and surv trees are horrible. Surv tree doesn't even make sense. Typical blizz. Copy/paste.
Where is Wild Spirits? You offer up a NL ability that, from your own stats, less than 6% of BM hunters play. Bring back rapid reload or something that was of benefit in BfA when BM hunters (used to) shine. So sad to see this tree for BM hunter. Did a dev familiar with the spec really create these?
I'd like to know what's in the spellbook pls.
Rogue have a lot of squares of 1 point. That is fun.Hunter have few squares because they have 2 or 3 points. And a lot of squares with boring passive effects like +10% dmg. That is so bored.
They should add glyphs and spell effects like green fire as a toggle on talent calculator pages. Quality of life improvement.
That's a bummer... I hoped that survi could get dual wield as a possible choice rather than being forced into 2H only still. Oh, how i envy monks and frost DKs.
Alright, I think I made something fun to play with BM. I'm excited to test it!
Still haven't seen any preview of guns in Dragonflight. Fingers crossed that Blizzard does the right thing and removes them from the game going forward.Bows are so much cooler, anyway.
No Wild Spirits.... Where are the exciting, new talents? And they are just taking all of baseline abilities just so we have to sacrifice them to get the talents we need. Not a fan of this at all. Please don't make me shelve my Hunter. Its been my main since Wotlk and its the only class that I could always reliably have fun with.
Looks like MM hunter in pvp with 5 sec stun and bear trap gonna be fun xD
Several talents in the main Hunter tree should be swapped around. For example, why put Master Marksman after Barrage? Barrage is a niche talent only usable in certain content like PvP. Having Keen Eyesight and Chimaera Shot after several BM talents forces a MM build to take talents they will not use. The main tree, row seven, has Improved Traps . However, the tree doesn't include Freeze Trap. Does this mean it is baseline? Also, putting RF focus generation after Streamline is another set of talents that should swap positions. Explosive Shot being a final talent doesn't seem correct. It is very useful for AoE but is not warranted to be a final row talent.Having a balance between passive effects and on-use talents is nice to allow for some players to reduce button count while allowing for others to utilize high button count and develop macros for unique play styles. I also don't mind having a couple of pet survivability talents for when running MM solo. However, I recommend not locking the successor talent to require two predecessor points. We should be allowed some flexibility. Have them unlock with the first point then, if the player chooses, they can add a second point for increased effect. This would allow players to create builds that are utility heavy, if necessary, based on specific content. There are some legacy effects that would be nice to see to make Hunter's more fun. For example, the Aimed Shot casting while moving during WoD where if you stood still for the cast, you got full damage was actually nice.EDIT: Playing with the MM tree further cements my comment about forcing two points in a predecessor to unlock a successor. I used up all my points and don't have enough for the bottom of the tree, forcing a player to be unable to play some great talent selections.
