I hope they dobnt m ake classic + raids like retail, slop mechanics
So handling it "with ease" is just doing the mechanic the way you're supposed to?
Tips are always good but handling Emberdawn has never been an issue to me in groups Windrunner. What is consistently the problem is that there are an insane number of interrupts in the dungeons and 1 out of 3 dps in pug groups consistently seems to be missing the interrupt spell and doesn't have any stuns. Then even in runs that go well, someone will get a d/c when using one of the teleports in the dungeon and it's game over on the timer.
I still don't know how the frontal works or what the hitbox is... I've never been hit by it on the edges, despite the effects clearly being around meThey've really done a bad job showing accurate telegraphs there.
the only thing that kind of bothers me with this fight, is the fire breath not being that great visually. they should have made it a little bit easier to see.
this is very helpful, 8 weeks into the season
HaHaHaHa there is a reason classic has more players and raiders than slop retail
They should have mentioned that if you're tanking this, you want to keep the boss near the edge so that melee doesn't have to run very far to drop off their puddle. As people get puddles to drop off, slowly move him around the edge of the room to allow melee to still be able to drop off and return with as little dps downtime as possible.
Wow.If people are still having trouble with that mechanic this late into the season maybe they should go back to m0...
I was really hoping they'd mention dragging the boss to the outer edge so melee can drop fire puddles and keep uptime.
