soon hmm? It's been 3 resets when hunters pull boss just by targeting him and still nothing's been done...
Currently progging Halondrus on mythic! Hope this gets fixed soon! XD
Yup. Guild ran into this on our casual sunday heroic reclears, and it made the boss practically impossible. People would just fall over at random during P3 because "oops, actually there was an invisible beam there :)"Dunno how the spaghetti code was @#$%ed on this one, but I hope blizz fixes it quickly.
This is still bugged as of right now, it seems. I saw this happen in a random pug today.I know the only thing keeping these ~18 years of linguini code together are the devs' blood, sweat, and tears, but the fact that this bug just randomly popped up on Friday and is still a thing right now is kinda crazy and leads me to believe someone really broke something pretty badly.
Yup, my guild just got to Heroic Halondrus last week, and were consistently getting him to P3, but every time these abilities were bugging out and not appearing, wiping us out almost immediately. On top of those listed, there were glitches with the floor textures for the P2 > P3 transition disappearing and us literally walking on air.Small Indie Company
they are nerfing the graphical stuff , that raid is a joke now
It's not the best solution but you can drop your camera to ground level and see the beams/merry-go-round
Betalands,looking forward to Betaflight
It's still bugged - just killed him on heroic - couldn't see the planetcrackers unless you moved your camera around. We had whoever did catch a glimpse shout out to warn the rest of the raid where it was. Not ideal.
It is very frustrating they haven't acknowledged this bug yet, or seem to have a fix incoming. It cost us a kill on this last week and will likely cost us time on Anduin this week. For a 6 hr/wk guild this is a lot of downtime =/
We had this issue on our Saturday night Heroic run too (but not on our Friday night Normal run). Was actually hilarious, half the raid just suddenly fell over, and no one knew why til we realised that the beam had disappeared :D A couple of our group said the floor had disappeared for them as well, while running between the 3 locationsI could see the planetcracker beams as normal, when I had my camera tilted from a much higher (practically overhead) position. We managed to down it on the 2nd attempt, after we realised what was happening though... just gotta keep moving slowly anti-clockwise, the same as usual. Also... the hunter ninja-pull bug... yeah, it's annoying... but it's really easy to work around (while we wait for a proper fix)You ready..? It's called...Just don't target the boss (or anything) until the pull timer countdown gets to 1 (or 0). Shocking I know... but suddenly the game is still playable? Is is annoying? Yes.Should it be fixed ASAP? Absolutely! Is the game 'unplayable' because of it? No...? Just means you have to adapt and be ready for early pulls... really not that hard...(also, for the record... I main a hunter... have had this bug happen to me exactly once... then I just stopped targetting things til I was ready to pull it. problem solved, for now...)
It's not just the mechanics going haywire. I've personally witnessed some textures just outright disappearing throughout the fight. Under Halondrus, the wall leading into the third room...Overall a very un-fun experience to go from a farm boss back to progression. I almost had to step out myself because I could only see the overhead beams if I angled my camera to face straight on -- and that's generally a recipe for motion sickness for us more sensitive folk. Thankfully we managed a decent clear after the fourth wipe in phase 3.
Not a bug. Just a little buff for poor old crab
Mythic Hard Mode Halondrus.
As me and my guild are casually progressing this boss, we hope to see forms of compensation like a week or two of gametime as the game is unplayable. Imagine if you're paying 12€ monthly for Amazon Prime and they stop delivering packages due to their systems being bugged, surely you'd be compensated. I don't see how this is any different. Because the bottom line is about value. 2 weeks of gametime or losing players to better games like Path of Exile or Lost Ark.
This is the intended original MM difficulty mechanic, devs had pity on the RWF guilds, and nerfed it before raid opening. It’s probably a bug that brought back the original mechanic
We just called our raid after an hour because of this, we are on about 200 pulls on mythic now and we are starting to hit sub 10% pulls consistently, such a massive bummer.
