Evoker Legendary Only Drops From Your Highest Difficulty Kill Each Week

If you defeat Heroic first, does this mean that you’re locked out of a Mythic chance?

Should people killing Mythic Sarkareth not kill Heroic, Normal or LFR before hand?

Should people killing Mythic Sarkareth kill LFR > Normal > Heroic in order?

Does every difficulty give Evokers 1 roll at the Legendary and killing the boss on a higher difficulty just rolls multiple times?

What are the drop chances?

Quick update on some discussions we’ve seen -Defeating Scalecommander Sarkareth on the highest difficulty will cover your best chance for getting the Cracked Titan Gem that week. Doing the encounter extra times on lower difficulties won’t increase your chances of getting the item.

This would mean that if you complete Heroic Sarkareth first in a week, you get 3 rolls at each drop meaning you have a chance of getting the Legendary: 3.4651%.

If you complete Normal Sarkareth first in a week, you get 2 rolls at the lower two drop chances% meaning you have a chance of getting the Legendary on Normal: 1.495%, then an extra 2% chance when you defeat Heroic. All things consider this works out to be 3.4651% as well.

If this is the correct conclusion

It's simple, highest difficulty increases some bad luck mitigation. This might still need some more clarificationComment by PuupiSooo I went to kill LFR Sarkareth first and Heroic later, was I blocked from getting it from the heroic kill?Comment by SundercatWell the intuitive way for it to work would be if your drop chance on normal is, say, 0.5%(Im completely making these numbers up for demonstration purposes), and the chance on heroic is 1%, killing normal first would then yield a 0.5% drop chance if you then kill it on heroic the same week. If you do heroic first you get the 1% chance, and then there's no chance of seeing it in normal.

They said that your highest difficulty covers your best chance.

The way this likely works is... let's say that the weapon has a 1% chance to drop on LFR, a 2% chance on Normal, 3% on Heroic, and 4% on Mythic. If you kill Mythic Sarkareth first, you'd get the full chance from every difficulty, a 10% chance in total, but then none of your lower difficulty kills will have any chance.
