I have farmed this trasmo for years, don t let tusks be a “joke” trasmo.
What people dont get is that, having so rare items is good. they dont offer any progression to your character, its just adds to the rpg element mmorpgs were always about flexing others dont have, and this is not even tied to any power progression, something you decide to start farming and you know it can take 1 pull or it can take 1000, but does it matter really? There is no time pressure or "the season ends and you lose it",its just there and waits you to try your luck.the feeling you get after being Lucky that one time is something else, but you know its not just luck, cause luck is to go and get it in 1 or 100 pullls , killing him 1500+ times is facking dedication.Ofc there are people with rare drops that didn't farm them but they are a minority. adding the skip was a great addition, it literally takes 5mins to kill him now.Anyway it won't really bother me if they make em more accessible, but truth is i never complained about someone having something i dont have even if i have done it hundreds times more than them, i was just like 'damn i need to keep farming that *!@#" or "wow wish i had that mount/transmo/title" but not in an Envy way more like an admiring one.
Insanely stupid to have items drop under 1% at all.Would you put lottery winners getting millions in the same league as someone building a company from scratch and earning the same? No you would not.Luck is not prestigious. Sure, you can feel proud that you stuck through it running ICC over 500 times. Some people got it on the first kill, some people are still running it with 1000s of kills. That is not prestigious. That's perseverance. The only time i feel like you can "brag" about something is owning a mount/title/pet from something when it was current content. Like "i was there" kind of thing.Legion Mage Tower is probably one of the things that i can for certain say is prestigious and you can feel proud for doing it. Or legit running Mythic or getting keystone hero or portal to every dungeon. Obviously, carries can pay for all that. Doesn't diminish the work people actually put in.
Tusk of mannoroth can drop from quantum shoulders from the dungeon Dawn of the infinite.Got mine from there.
not that I care much, I have them worked for them but I guess gratz for you guys but what I dont understand is the special treatment some items get like CM sets that is treated like nope never coming back and everything else included the slimecat can be bought, the new stuff feels like free how is slimecat any different then curve mount garrosh either you played back in SL, which lets be honest was pain to play or ya did not, why add it now for people who missed?like that comment above is correct about old stuff like ashbringer but what about the new stuff that just feels like free
I’m not saying I’m against the things in this article but I don’t understand people who always act like everyone should just easily be able to get everything in the game that they want and say others are being elitist gatekeepers if they are against that idea. What’s the value of items in the game if just anyone can easily get it? If all of a sudden all the mounts and transmit etc was just unlocked for everyone then that would basically destroy the game for me. I guess maybe it’s because I’m a collector and other people are not focused on collecting but they just like certain items so to them it’s not a big deal. They just want the thing while they are focused on raiding or mythic plus or something? I don’t get it. Having said that I’m not super upset about the changes they are talking about so far. Remix looks fun to me.
I have the shoulders and think this is a great thing. No doubt they will make it a grind, but it's 1000 times better than random chance.I feel that every rare item should be like that. Make it hard to obtain, make it long to obtain but by god stop it with the 0.001% drop chances.I'd rather know I have to clear an old raid 3000 times than hope I'll get the thing I'm aiming for in somewhere between 20 attempts to 7,000,000 attempts.
It's disrespectful to the people who farmed this for years and devoted time and effort. I hate this stupid policy of Blizzard.
