One of the many exciting parts of Patch 9.1.5 is the reintroduction of Legion Mythic Plus in the form of Timewalking! In this video, Dratnos and Tettles discuss the return of these cherished dungeons and some of the implications of the way they're being re-implemented. Read about how Legion Timewalking will work

Legion Timewalking
With Legion Timewalking Mythic Plus gear upgradeable with Valor points, the question of whether there are any items worth chasing is inevitable, and Blizzard appears to already have considered this and begun adjusting how items from these dungeons operate. Some, like the
Faulty Countermeasure, appear largely unchanged and have had their "Requires level 49 or lower" tag removed on PTR - these types of trinkets may absolutely be worth pursuing and upgrading to item level 246 (and then again to 272 in 9.2, and so on forever and ever). Others, like the
Writhing Heart of Darkness, have had their effect altered, with that trinket going from percentage damage reduction to a flat amount. Notably, the
Jeweled Signet of Melandrus ring from Court of Stars has not had its "Requires level 49 or lower" tag removed, which indicates that it may not have that effect - if it did, it would be best in slot for most autoattackers.
Wowhead has also
datamined the Infernal Affix, which appears to be replacing the Seasonal Affix at the Keystone Level 10 or higher slot for Legion Timewalking. This elegant solution allows the Timewalking system to exist in perpetuity and not require constant updating with each new seasonal affix, and the Infernal affix looks like a flavorful version of the now common miniboss style Seasonal Affix.
Infernal Affix Datamining
There are also some Tier 20 Mythic armor set recolors that
have been datamined - these are likely to be heavily sought after and might be tied to the Legion Mythic Plus Timewalking system (or perhaps some other part of the Legion Timewalking experience).
What do you think about Legion Timewalking from what we know so far? Do you like the idea of Valor upgradable gear and Mythic tier set recolors as rewards, or are there other ways you'd like to see the incentives structured? Have you done any of the Timewalking raids - were those compelling content that you'd like to see more of or are you happy to see experimentation with stuff like Mythic Plus instead?
