Excited to see how the game evolves with this new expansion. The hype behind it and enthusiasm from the community-at-large seem to be very positive.
"as this promotion will be ending on the 28th with the release of Dragonflight!"For no good reason and completely shattered my belief that Blizzard had any genuine interest in changing their dirty ways. Added that date just to boost a little of the old metrics but by doing so have created a negative for the next 2 years as every time a player goes "how do you get that" and you have to go "rewind time and do something really easy". Why do you have to rewind time? No good reason. Wrath will still be there. Retail will still be there. Players will still be new to one, the other or both. This has value as a tool to get people try "the other" game beyond the 28th, but no, they needed a little more number now I guess, so f the players.Personally I don't and won't have it on my account and the sad thing is I was playing wrath anyway. They only hurt their own image doing stuff like this over and over again.Edit: There again who am I kidding the only people who really have a positive image of Blizzard these days are practically evangelists.Positive edit: On the plus side props to them for adding the new Dungeon (and not removing the old dungeon while they did it kappa), which is the one thing I'm looking forward to in pre-patch beyond checking out Evoker. Primal storms not my sort of thing from the sounds of it but I hope people have fun collecting their sets.
Imagine reading these bull$%^& essays in a commentsection, its a Videogame lol
even with the 50% xp going away the xp required to get to 50-60 is reduced by 75%. it will still be faster. plus we still got the 18% buff from the anniversary it will still be faster to lvl. at lvl 59-60 maybe 2 dungeons so its not a big deal really.
Yep, I'll be collecting the mogs and trinket. If you've just been world-questing in ZM for the past 6 months, and particularly if you have a lot of alts (or freshly dinged 60s), ilevel 252 is reasonable for catch up gear. You'll probably be around ilevel 250 by this stage, give or take a few levels, and doubtless you'll have a few slots you can improve upon. (Clearly if you're a raider or M+ fan this gear is of no benefit to you).
but seriously, if its anythign like 2 weeks ago, what to expect is that if you live on the east coast, you will not play tonight.
I didn't really get a chance to play Devastation Evoker since it was the on the PTR. I at least got through the starter experience, and was able to experience soaring. So, it was reassuring to hear that Devastation's damage was buffed, even though there was that article about Pyre. Same thing with Preservation. That said, I wish the visage forms were more thought out, though. I understand reminding NPCs of Deathwing isn't ideal. What I don't understand is playing a female Dracthyr Evoker and walking around Orgrimmar as a human. You just traded one bitter enemy for another. Surely it couldn't be too hard to make a female Blood Elf Visage? On another note, I hope that I don't have to get too many pieces of catch-up gear on my main since I have a few Fated items. My Evoker and maybe Shaman is going to be a different story, though. Speaking of Enhancement Shamans, I wonder if all the whining worked. Sure, I may not have played long. However, I killed a few mobs really fast in Chromie Time so, I can see how insane damage was being done on beta. So, I imagine that Blizzard knows that letting mobs be tagged by everybody now might be rendered pointless by a one-shot.
When I tried to link to twitch.it has a 7 day.. requirements if you were not connected before which defeats the when purpose
