See now THIS is how it should have been done in Shadowlands. I am glad they are learning from their mistakes. Many players want to experience all the game's content, including all the content for all four covenants. It is VERY annoying when you can't see all the quests without alts. For those complaining about account-wide or not. Each class is a completely different experience. If you earn something using one class, no, you should not be awarded the same thing across all characters. You need to earn it on each class. Also, no one is forcing you to create alts. That is your choice. I would rather see everything on one character per faction, instead of 5% of the content on 20 alts LOL.
This would be wonderful if they would make it account-wide.If they were account wide people would play more of the other classes. Have multiple choices to do raids and m+ with their friends (I have none, its just an argument), guild mates. They would spend more things they enjoy. They would spend more time doing what is the strong points of this game which are Dungeons & Raids. You're with a group of friends and you need Bloodlust? Sure! No problem. You just login on the character you have been crafting gear for and grinding mats for or spammed m+ for. Making it account wide it would lead to happy players. There are players that do not feel good unless they have the alt they play the most at the same level as their main. Why would you have them feel burnt if your game when you can make it account-wide? Take, as an example, the augment rune you get for getting exalted with the main faction of the last patch of an expansion. Why on earth would you lock THAT behind a character? Why not make it account-wide? Why repeat the stuff that make players do it for the rewards after having the rewards? That is the only reasons all players do it. So that they unlock those stuff. If you are making it account-wide you:1.Get players to do the content you want.2.Get a happy player because he has access to the stuff he worked for on all of his alts.3.You get more players playing more classes.4.You help casual players play your game. You give them more tools to achieve what they want.5.Happy player leads to a better morale of the team. I know you know how the community feels, generally, you just have a PR team that train you to speak in a way to not show it.6.You get more players (more possible income, not from subs but from possible in-game shop purchases). If this is a technical stuff that involves networking and programming that you do not have time for, it is understandable but otherwise there is no excuse to not make it account-wide.

So the designations Friendly, Honored, Revered, Exalted are now replaced with... "I'm at Renown 28 with the Tuskarr"? Kind of lacks immersion, no?
Make these account shared and were good
so instead of one activity granting a renown level like covenants in 9.2 we get a fill a bar like 9.1 Korthia Archivists?I pass
