d4 bad
They do have to do something. Season 3 is really lame. The pets provided no game play changes compared to hearts or vampric abilities, and the vaults feel identical and uninteresting. In general the seasons have felt meh, but I'm comparing it in my head to Path of Exile, which has had a decade to create a vast array of varied content. Yet I still enjoy D3 more than D4 for some reason. Really had high hopes for D4, but now I'm just gonna stick around this season til Last Epoch hits.
I am a huge POE Fan and i played over 100 hours this season alone. But the campaign was annoying, transitioning from char A to MF Tornado was annoying - and doing 300+ jungle maps in a row is not great content.POE has its own problems and it had seasons where you ignored season mechanics most of the time. Last season or crucible were not good IMO. So i find the D4 Bashing way over the top. I just think they should target 4 months seasons to have more time in development. And S3 sadly didnt deliver. The patch helps, but the game really needs loot filters (loot 2.0) and more endgame content/crafting. D4 simply is 10 years of development behind POE.

It's not as bad as it looks on the surface, but it's definitely a lackluster attempt at a season. Pros are new dungeons and overworld things to do. It's nice to just have some new content to run. That's kind of it, really.Cons are the new mobs are just reskins of some of the most obnoxious mobs in the game and tbh, the seneschal companion is pretty useless. It's also just not really fun or engaging. A whole season built around buffing up a companion robot spider that you can't change in any way other than two whole skills - is just underwhelming. The trap dungeons are kind of annoying at first, but they're not as bad as they're made out to be. You can just ignore the wardwoven chests and burn thru them for XP, so they're good for leveling. I think for something that's the Season of the Construct, there should be more Constructs in it than robot bugs. They could have done something with different types of constructs ranging from the small bug bots up to Frankensteinian flesh golems. Choose what type of companion you want and buff it from there, create some variety in the builds. Players want to do stuff that feels impactful and have meaningful changes, and this doesn't do any of that.
I know everyone's thinking it, but not saying it, so i'm going to say it. The only thing wrong with season 3, and I mean the ONLY thing wrong with it is that they're not making enough costumes for the cash shop. My spider robot thingie needs a tophat and I hope it costs a hundred dollars.
It doesnt matter if POE has been doing it longer. It doesn't make playing a subpar game any better. Judge the game on it's own and in its current state.Besides Blizz has a huge advantage of being to look at POE and seeing what does or doesn't work. It's not like they have to figure this stuff out from square one.
the core of the game is flawed. Class design is one of the worst I've seen in modern games. The same builds every season just in different order on maxroll tier list site, constructs won't save you. focus on making games not money.
to say that d3 is better than d4 you must have some really big mental problems lol, that kids game d3 was so stupid at all . d4 is better in every possible way. + you have mounts for God sake !+ the feeling is way more bloody and hellish+ skills are better on 100%+ chars are better on 1000%+ music is GREAT- of course there is bad things , like price of cosmetics which are way too expensive and few other things, bugs , all other, but nothing is perfect on this life. d4 is for true fans only. others, skip please. or go play baldurs gate. i dont care .BTW how do you play back in the days d1 and d2 without crying on every few weeks that game is not good ? you needed new seasons back then ? devs not hear you ? OF COURSE because was real things back then . not like now. all baby`s crying like for they mother . lol its funny
