Then came artifact weapons. Those were borrowed power until it was drained to save azeroth. Covenant legendaries and shadowlands legendaries were borrowed power until its deactivation prior to dragonflight. the Ring (amulet) is borrowed power with the ability to mix and match elements based on the content you was doing. The trinkets will be the same thing but with specificity to the class and role.
Every expansion there is some type of borrowed power and when tier set returned, people still cried and that wasnt enough. The ring is still BiS for some specs but at this point most classes replaced them because secondary stats are worth more than the special abilities that come with it. The trinket is the same, however people will complain about everything and anything that is wow and it never seems to amaze me. You dont want that borrowed power? dont get it, I have my main and 12 alts that dont have the ring because I choose secondary stats over the ring. Yes, It may bring my DPS down on the classes that benefit from it but I chose that route. The trinket is no better. Im pretty sure that 441/444/447 and 450 trinkets will not be trumped by the mega dungeon trinket. so dont get your panties in a bunch. Its a trinket and Im pretty sure that if these trinkets are over performing, they will tone it down.Comment by ohnoezitsjoesTheres vendors near the Time Rift area on the 10.1.5 PTR now that sell Paracasual trinkets for 250 "Paracasual Flakes." A vendor for each timeway I believe (Azmerloth, etc). Not sure if all trinkets are here but they seem to be vendor items.Comment by PrimorisPlease ^&*!ing no.
