Rogue changes were overal positive. Little worried Ret will be left behind, nerfed tierset, then buffed our lowest damage ability to still be our lowest damage ability. I dont actually expect Consecration to do meaningful damage. I'm a bit surprised Hammer of Wrath wasnt buffed since the new tierset makes HoW the second lowest priority ability, nearly as low as consecration. Was interested in playing DH until i saw the Havoc nerfs, could still be viable, time will tell.
Such hunter changes, can't resist...
Evoker got more changes so far in the course of one expansion that isn't even over and seems relatively short then hunter with all 3 specializations in the last 3 expansions altogether, What a pain.
Yo blizz do you guys remember that spec that has a red life bar, the one which we call frost, no ? Yeah we have no utility, no mobility and we are not even top dps. We have no choice on our talents with the exception of breath and oblit, btw breath is the nost punitive gameplay in all the game and oblit is 3 button rotation... can we get some love please ?
Seeing the aura multiplier on WW monk shows that WW will be average good at beginning of S3, and bad at the end. This is because Blizzard fixes DPS issues with a flat multiplier.A real fix would be to rework the WW monk and fix DPS gain by stats increase. This is still broken, and the root cause of the problem.
love how they &*!@ out this garbage hunter’s mark change at the beginning and now again completely forget that hunter even exists
Eyy...fun was detected with BM Hunter, so now they fixed it, no more fun. Great work.
Well BM hunters we almost had it. We were so close to greatness. Now we'll just have to settle for being mid or at the bottom again.
Overall pretty good changes for BM hunter. Spec with minimal skill expression should always be middle of the pack. It's funny how hunter mains will likely cry how bad they are in dmg meter while pressing 2 buttons while nonstop moving around and jumping around.
I have been regularly checking these updates, excited for what may be to come for hunters. The hunter's mark was a step in the right direction but I was hoping for tweaks to make it affective in M+. The tier set for BM a fun idea I hoped they bring the talent tree after because it embodies what BM should really feel like with all the pets. It would seem its back to being disappointed as they just went and nerfed it into the ground. 1 beast affectively nerfs this set bonus by about 300% for anyone who took Dire Command as you can have 2-4 beasts out at a time. We have played a Piercing Fangs build since it was a legendary in Legion and quite frankly I'm bored out of my mind with it. I was excited to try a Dire Pack / Call of the Wild build but now this just makes Dire Command, Dire Pack, and Dire Frenzy substantially less valuable and probably bringing Piercing fangs back up to the top to take with the new Call of the Wild (Which was a good change, don't you dare touch this talent Blizzard). The Hunter designer clearly is nothing but a sims reader and has never touched the class. We still spend more points than any other spec in the game on multipoint nodes, we are amongst the lowest in survivability, provide the worst raid utility in the game, 1 of our specs is in the dumpster, with all 3 crying out for help. Can we please get some representation on this class from someone who actually has passion for it?
AHHH BEING ANGRY ABOUT PATCH NOTES EVEN THOUGH THEY AREN'T FINAL AND MORE THINGS WILL PROBABLY BE COMING ARRRGHH!
The BM teir set still functions exactly the same. Just the tooltip was updated. People need to stop commenting on things they don't know about at all.
Unbelievable that there are still no MM hunter changes.Talents are in shambolic state and the new 4 P tier bonus adds basically nothing.
So apparently even though the fury change says "Your next 6", in actuality according to the warrior discord is that it let's you stack up to 6 and doesn't actually give you 6. So you can push Odyn's Fury + Avatar to get 6 (3 + 3) .
Wowhead can you make these small numerical changes easier to read? I dont know if its just Firefox but its super hard to tell if its a nerf or buff. For example Mistweaver's several core passives are changed, but the old value has grey text with a line through it.. and the new number has a dash. Was the old value 21 or -21? Very hard to tell. There has to be a better way to display this stuff :P
